Operating from the Village Hall of Church Lench, The Lenches Pre-School have full and sole use of the hall and gardens during term time. Services
With close community links our pre-school welcomes children and families from all walks of life. Our setting is registered with Ofsted and the compulsory and voluntary parts of the Childcare register. The Lenches Pre-school has been running since 1960's, providing term time pre-school care and education.
Our Forest School takes place in a dedicated forest school setting in the wonderful Yates' Community Orchard in Church Lench. The Orchard is just a five minutes walk from the school and follows a public footpath. Forest School runs every Monday during term time only and is open for children who are over 3 years old and fully potty trained.
The Lenches Pre-school provides government Nursery Education Funding for children who are two, three and four years old. This funding entitles a child to receive 15 hours of Universal Funding or up to 30 hours of Extended Funding per week, 38 weeks of the year.
Once the contract has been signed and agreed, the entitlement will secure funding for a full term and you will not be able to transfer the free entitlement payment to another provider until the term ends.Childcare providers can claim extra funding through EYPP to support individual children's development, learning and care.

Become a trustee and be actively involved in the learning and developement of our children. The Lenches Preschool is a charity run organisation and is registered with the Charities Commission (Registered Charity No. 1043885). The Charity operates and, with the Early Years foundation stage, which is the framework outlining the requirements that must be put in place for the welfare learning and development of the children attending the provision.
