We are back open inside! You will be able to book for up to 6 people or 2 households per table as per current guidance. In the event where your group of 2 households is more than 6 people, please call or email so we can assist you. The front and back garden have plenty of tables, these are on a first come basis, so if the weather looks promising there will always be space for a spur of the moment visit.
The six large and comfortable bedrooms have been lovingly created in keeping with the tranquil country location that surrounds it. Comfy beds with crisp white sheets and cosy duvets provide the ultimate sanctuary after a busy day exploring the local area or a hectic day at work. Keeping both leisure and business guests in mind, all rooms benefit from free wifi, flat screen TV and en-suite bathrooms with gorgeous showers and fluffy white towels.

Breakfast is served from 7am - 9am Monday to Friday and 8 - 9:30am on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays.
We'll be building up a list of places of interest local to White Hart - Alton, Hampshire that registered users can rate. This will help visitors to the area find the best places to go and might even provide some inspiration for us locals too. If you want more information on any of these, why not pop in and see us - we might have some further literature, advice or even discount tickets for some of them.
Holybourne has stunning countryside right on its doorstep. At the White Hart we welcome walkers and are happy for our car park to be used by walkers who intend to enjoy our refreshments on their return. Here are some of our favourite local walks, ranging from an evening stroll to a challenging and enjoyable hike up Holybourne Down.

The food here is fantastic! The ribs and steak are some of the best I've ever had, you can tell a great deal of pride has gone into the menu, and the choice and variety is excellent. Enthusiastic staff were… very pleasant and acommodating. Great drink selection. We stayed the night and the rooms are very clean and well cared for, great value for money. Breakfast did not disappoint either, perfect poached eggs! Do not miss this place! I encourage you to stop by!

Had a lovely stay when visiting for two nights. I had a great night's sleep. The bed was extremely comfortable with high quality bedding.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a delicious breakfast in front of the fire, exactly what we needed after attending a wedding the day before.
If I return to the area I will definitely be back!

This was my first stay here as it is local to a new office I work from and I will certainly be returning for future work trips. The rooms are spacious and comfy with all the elements you expect such as kettle, hairdryer, TV etc. The food was beautiful both for dinner and breakfast. But the main point here is the team, they are great! approachable, happy, helpful and warm. Absolutely be recommending to my colleagues and anyone visiting the area

We have just spent 2 nights here, very enjoyable atmosphere. Helpful friendly efficient staff.
Photos on here are old it's had a makeover inside I think. It was very clean and tidy. Outdoor area was good, easy parking .
Would go again. Food was very tasty and breakfast choices were great. Coffee was good also..
Our room was very pleasant too. Good value all round . Lovely location also . We walked around church and duck pond.

My mother recently passed away, and I needed to find somewhere quiet and comfortable for the family to have some refreshments and share memories after the service. I was worried about being able to find anywhere due to the pandemic, but a relative recommended the White Hart and I was so glad that they did. When I spoke with Carey she was kindness itself, and our every need was catered for. Staff were on hand throughout and we were accommodated in a secluded area with its own facilities. Had a very pleasant afternoon in the beer garden at the White Hart today. We didn’t need to book as there were plenty of free tables outside. Just pick a table, download the Hopt app and order and pay on-line for your food and drinks. Your order is delivered to your table within 5 minutes for drinks and 20 minutes for hot food. Couldn’t be simpler. Food was tasty and well presented. The table staff appear to be mainly college students and were reasonably friendly. No complaints, would definitely come back again.
