A warm welcome to East Harling Primary School and Nursery! We are a successful, happy and friendly primary school and nursery which mainly serves the communities of East Harling, West Harling, Bridgham, Roudham, Gasthorpe, Riddlesworth and Larling. Children get only one chance at education and we aim to provide a happy and purposeful environment where children can experience the joy of learning and work hard to achieve their full potential.
Provide every child with the essential skills and academic abilities to be a life long learner. Equip every child with the skills and attitudes to make a positive contribution to our school and the wider community. Ensure that every child knows how to live a healthy lifestyle through knowledge and awareness of diet, hygiene, social skills and exercise.
Norfolk County Council is responsible for arranging all admissions into Norfolk schools. Admissions mid- year are normally organised to start at the each term, unless there are reasons why a child needs to start school straight away (for example if they can no longer travel to their previous school).
East Harling Primary School and Nursery has a good reputation and the Governors plan to build and enhance this. Our vision is to provide the children of East Harling and the surrounding area with an outstanding education. We aim to promote every child's social, moral, spiritual and cultural development as well as excellence in academic achievement, providing positive experiences in a wide range of sports, arts and other cultural opportunities.
Along with Bressingham Primary School we are the founding members of the co-operative trust. Banham Primary School, Bunwell Primary School, Carleton Rode Primary School, Chapel Green School, Old Buckenham Primary School, Old Buckenham High School and Thompson Primary School are all partner members of the trust.
