The Bell is a delightful, traditional, country pub and restaurant situated between Thame and Aylesbury. Our warm, friendly, traditional pub offers you a great home-cooked pub menu using locally sourced fresh produce. We pride ourselves on maintaining consistently well kept Fuller's ales, which we accompany with a well chosen wine list.
In winter months relax by our amazing wood burning stove or enjoy our fantastic child friendly garden and patio area in the summer months. Whatever you choose, your hostess Sharon and the lovely team at The Bell will endeavour to make your experience as enjoyable as possible.

This is a lovely pub with loads of options for where to eat. The seating in the pub is quite small but you have 3 options outside. There's a outside room which looks cosy and warm, a marquee in the carpark with benches and a patio heater. And finally you have the benches in the back garden. Had the veggie Sunday roast which was good bit didn't have anything to replace the meat. It's really easy to order and pay through the website.

I’ve been here a few times now for drinks and once for food - basically I’d highly recommend it.
There is a car park at the rear which can get a little full but usually just big enough.
You then have the beer garden 🍻 🌳to the rear of the actual pub which they’ve made a cracking job of.
Last weekend we met friends for drinks and we decided to have food too, I opted for the Philly Burger 🍔 which is made with Slices of Fillet Steak - it’s VERY good!! Highly recommended from two of us who ate it.
My partner had a meat pizza 🍕 which she said was good, and we also ordered a bowl

Our first visit to The Bell and we were delighted. We chose to sit in the lovely beer garden (the pagoda and awning weren’t currently covid-secure as at least 50% of it’s sides weren’t open). Clear check in to… Covid app and great QR code on table leading to full menu. Prompt and friendly service. Excellent food and drinks; we had nachos, beef burger and lamb moussaka. We shall return!

The Bell has to be one of the best village pubs we been too.. such a warm freindly welcome from the bar staff as you enter. The garden is amazing with a kids play area too and so much space to sit out there for food and drinks . Food is incredible and the staff are so helpful.. thoroughly recommend it..

Lovely country pub! Food is locally sourced where possible and cooked to perfection! Gorgeous cauliflower cheese soup with fresh baked bread. Bar staff are happy and make you very welcome and the kitchen staff bring the food out, clean aprons, with a smile asking if you would like sauces etc. Lovely enclosed play garden for children, when weather is good. Clean toilets, ample parking and a little shop just up the green.
