With everyone forced to increase the amount of time they stay at home, the public health team has uploaded pages on its 'Let Get' website to support and nourish the bodies and minds of children, young people and their carers. At our school, our children and their staff talk about being 'Queen Victoria Pioneers', we hope you get a sense of this as you explore our site.
Remember this is just a snapshot of our school, do come to Sedgley and see for yourself the real Queen Vic. Thank you to everyone who has shared their home-learning with us via email, Facebook and Twitter. Today, the children finished off their chocolate topic with a delicious poem all about chocolate!

On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I would like to welcome you to Queen Victoria Primary School. We hope you find our website clear, informative and easy to navigate. It is designed to give you a flavour of the vibrant life of our school, the work of our pupils and the quality education we strive to deliver.
At Queen Victoria Primary School, we deliver a broad, balanced and exciting curriculum. If you require further information please ask Mrs Hall or your child's class teacher. Homework is important to staff and many parents at Queen Victoria Primary School.
We understand that there can be mixed feelings when it comes to the frequency and quantity of homework sent home on a weekly basis, however we view homework as an integral part of the school experience.Active, successful pupil participation in homework supports our beliefs of how children learn best.

In line with The Department for Education we aim to actively promote British values in schools to ensure young people leave school prepared for life in modern Britain. Pupils are encouraged to regard people of all faiths, races and cultures with respect and tolerance and understand that while different people may hold different views about what is 'right' and 'wrong', all people living in England are subject to its law.
Should you live outside the borough you will need to contact the relevant council. Even if your child attends our Nursery you will still need to make an application. Places at Queen Victoria are allocated by the Dudley Admissions Service using the Dudley schools admissions criteria. Should you require any further information or would like to arrange a viewing, please contact the school office on 01384812553.
