Services
Available with both our vets and nurses, 15 minutes as standard throughout the day from 8am until 7:30pm. By appointment only. We help you to ensure your pet receives the medication it needs. Please bear in mind that pets on long-term medication must be seen by a vet at a minimum of every six months.
Everybody will process this grief differently, and we are here to listen with compassion and without judgement if you need somebody to talk to. Our experienced team can discuss your options to guide you through this process in a sensitive and humane manner. Putting your pet to sleep is a very difficult decision, and we understand how difficult it can be.
Your pet will need routine treatments and vaccinations throughout its life, and our plan gives the peace of mind that comes from knowing that care is covered. We offer our Pet Health Plan for your cats and dogs, breaking down the costs of routine veterinary services to a monthly direct debit, and giving your pet its vaccinations, parasite prevention and regular checks with your vet throughout the year.

Far too expensive!!! I have pet insurance that I pay £46 however This vets charge whatever they like for animal vacs!! No care in the world when you tell them your on low income but charging £200 for a puppy vacs and worming! Told me I’d of paid £400 if it wasn’t for my pet insurance in place!! The prices should’ve been told beforehand. What an absolute Rip off!!

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability, Responsiveness
The vets and staff at Palmer and Duncan show a genuine care for animals and treat pets as individuals whilst offering a professional and high standard of care. The dog treats are a nice touch and it’s appreciated they recognise Esme is a much loved member of our family. I would highly recommend.

I visited Palmer & Duncan over the weekend after a really poor experience last week with a different local vet. From the moment I rang and spoke to reception, Palmer & Duncan have been amazing, listened to my concerns and treated me and more importantly my dog with the upmost care and professionalism. A special thanks to the vet Julia who went above and beyond to make sure my dog was well looked after and made a quick recovery. Highly recommended.
