It is utterly vital to all of us that we provide our services in a caring and compassionate fashion, tailoring our service to your individual needs, both financial and medical. It is our good, and ongoing, relationship with you, and your pet, that provides the job satisfaction for all of us.
Services
We are a small animal practice in the Bradford area of Queensbury the Halifax area of Hipperholme, and have been established for over 30 years. Many of our clients have been coming to us for tens of years, and it's been fantastic getting to know them and their various companions. We have 2 branches which are both equipped with the latest veterinary equipment.
We are proud to offer in house referrals and support for our patients from skilled veterinary surgeons who we can arrange to visit the practice. The vets who visit us have advanced qualifications and certificates in various areas of veterinary care including cardiology, dermatology and internal medicine.
At our veterinary centres we offer a complete healthcare package at each surgery. See the list in the Services section for more details. A lot of our facilities are obvious: waiting areas, consulting rooms, nurses rooms, theatres, kennels, lab equipment etc and we won't dwell on the obvious.
It is worth pointing out that each centre is purpose built, and exceeds all current legislation, e.g. the X ray room is fully lead lined, the drug dispensaries are temperature controlled and monitored with respect to this, and so on.

At Shearbridge Vets, we believe in investing in our people as well as our surgeries, facilities and equipment to keep us at the forefront of outstanding veterinary care. In addition, we encourage staff to continue their development through veterinary surgeon and veterinary nurse training courses so they can boost their knowledge and skills to enable us to provide the best treatment and care for your pet.
Here at Shearbridge we are immensely proud to have qualified Veterinary Nurses who work as part of the overall team to care for you and your pet. Not everyone is aware about the training and exams that are undertaken to become qualified, but this means they are highly skilled in many aspects of pet care.

Amazing service, friendly staff and great prices too!
I hadn't registered my pet at a vets beforehand as her species doesn't often need regular veterinary care, but this time it was different.
I'd been struggling to find a vets that would take her in the same day for an emergency appointment, you either needed to be previously signed up or there were no same day appointments available.
When I made the call, I thought that it would be the same story but no, I was greeted in a friendly way and it was so simple to set up my account, my animal was saw the same evening.

Poor vets con artists if you want veterinarian advice off a receptionist this is the place to go joke of a place, they had been giving wrong dose of medication for my dogs skin problem for around about 3 year only giving him 5 mlg should of been on 8 mlg also doing 3 skin scraps and never getting results. Then sent me a condescending saying it would be best if I went to another vets when I had said I was leaving to see another vet anyway mad stay away.

It's the first time we have used this vets and they was fantastic my dog can be reactive towards strangers but the vet was really friendly and gained my dogs trust she happily went with her and let her give her booster injections and the receptionist was very friendly and kept coming out to keep me informed on how my dog was doing in with the vet,a very positive experiance considering the circumstances.

I took my cat to see Kevan for a second opinion regarding my older cat, he was amazing, he explained everything very clearly and reviewed Ollie within a month of his initial consultation. Kevan is definitely a cat person, he did not charge for the follow up appointment and his bedside manner was excellent. I really would recommend using this vet.

Took our canary who had a bad leg. vet removed bands of both legs, and also cut nails on good foot too, charged us £160. next morning the good foot was bleeding from the nails, returned to the vet who put a huge bandage in the tiny canarys leg, the canary kept pecking at it more and was bleeding still, rung to told them, was told we'd have a call back, we never received one, we rang again to be told the vet was going away the next day and they would not be able to see us untill the Friday. In this time we tried to see other vets, but due to the state of he bird we was advised that no one would
