For complete peace of mind, we are proud to be able to offer non-invasive, hospital standard Ocular Coherence Tomography (OCT) for an additional charge, or free for those on our Eyeplan care schemes.

We have also partnered with Hidden Hearing to provide a hearing care service with a qualified audiologist from the convenience of our practice. Oct Report

An OCT scan helps us to observe the health of your eyes in much greater detail, by allowing us to see what changes are occurring beneath the surface of the eye. We recommend OCT scans for patients aged 25 or over, who want to know more about their eye health. Our hospital grade Heidelberg Spectralis OCT is offered for a small additional cost of 25.00 or is included free of charge to those on our Eyeplan eye care schemes.

To say I was impressed would be an understatement. From making an appointment on the phone, to the welcome from the receptionists on arrival and all COVID safety in place, to a very professional eye test from Martin, excellent service from the sales lady who helped me choose my new fantastic frames and the lovely young man who did my fitting on collection. Felt so at home and didn’t feel rushed once. Would definitely recommend.

Transferred to R M Ling as my local Boots recently stopped providing eye tests. The practice was recommended to me as they offer OCT testing in addition to NHS eye test. Very impressed with Martin Ling. Extremely thorough eye test and he answered all my questions, especially with the OCT exam. Very friendly, professional staff from receptionists to dispensing optician. Selected new frames and ended up buying more than one pair to boot! A sign of good service. Will definitely recommend R M Ling to friends and family.

This is an extremely friendly and professional practice. I would say the best I've ever been to and I've been wearing spectacles for over 20 years and have visited many opticians in my time.
