I became interested in Yoga after taking a gap year in 2003, where I did my first yoga class in India. I am qualified with Yoga Alliance UK in Vinyasa Flow Yoga 500 hour advanced teacher (A 500-hour training goes more in-depth into the study of yoga, anatomy, dealing with injuries and other specialized modules).

I have been blessed by being taught by some of the best UK & International teachers in Yoga and anatomy who have shown me that Yoga doesn't have to follow the stereotypical traits. My aim through Yoga is to create a healthy, strong body as well as a balanced state of mind, well being and a deep feeling of relaxation.
Services
Vinyasa Flow yoga, consists of a series of poses which flow fluidly and synchronised with the breath; because of the smooth way that the poses run together the breath becomes an important component. Derived from Hatha yoga, Vinyasa yoga differs in some important ways from its predecessor. Vinyasa Flow yoga is often faster paced, and the asanas (poses) are linked together in a series of movements synchronized with the breath.
The class focuses more on different breathing techniques, bandhas & chakras. The "slow flow" part of the class is themed every week to either relate to a specific part of the body or chakra or breaking down a sequence so that you can practice it at home. The length of the Savasana (relaxation) at the end of the class is longer allowing your body to completely relax and your mind to release into a place of meditation.
Workshops are a 90 minute or 2 hour session concentrating on various topics from Beginners, for those who are just starting to dip their toe into the Yoga World to Meditation, Chakras, Partner work and more in depth Yoga Philosophy & Poses. The workshops are only for a small limited number to ensure personal attention can be given and plenty of time to ask questions.
