In line with current Government guidance patients are required to continue to wear a face covering in all healthcare settings. Face coverings primarily protect others, so doing so - unless exempt - is key to preventing spread of infection. We also ask that you continue to respect 2m social distancing rules and sanitise your hands upon entry and when required whilst in healthcare settings.

Services
Our telephone lines are open Monday to Friday from 8am until 6pm. We have clinics available at the following times, including some extended, out-of-hours sessions (early mornings from 7.30am and late evenings up to 8pm) which may be particularly helpful for patients who work during the day. To book appointments please telephone or visit the surgery between 8am and 6pm; appointments are also available to book online 24 hours a day.
The GPs practise together in a non-limited partnership. Dr Kamal is the senior partner and has a special interest in diabetes and dermatology. Dr Johnston is our lead GP for Clinical Governance and has a special interest in diabetes. Dr Herrero Tarilonte is our lead GP for prescribing, and has a special interest in cryotherapy and acupuncture.
The following is a guide to the many services that we provide for our patients. Most clinics are by appointment only. Please ask at reception for details of clinic times and appointment bookings, as times may vary. All women and people with a cervix between the ages of 25 and 64 should attend for regular cervical screening.
Parking at all of our sites is extremely limited and is fast becoming a safety concern. With a view to allowing as much access as possible for disabled patients or patients less able to walk, please consider parking nearby if you are able and walk to the surgery. Particularly at the Hemsworth site, there is plenty of free parking nearby near Iceland, B&M and Tesco's for example.
As a surgery we are committed to providing the best care for our patients and this includes making information accessible under the Accessible Information Standard. All organisations that provide NHS or adult social care must follow the Accessible Information Standard by law. The Accessible Information Standard aims to make sure that disabled people have access to information that they can understand and any communication support they might need.

I visited this morning for a Endoscopy procedure. I normally have this done in hospital. However with Covid I was appointed to this facility. I would definitely recommend using the Grange for the service. Not only did the nurses make Me feel comfortable. They listened and answered My concerns. The procedure was performed much quicker and more efficiently than the hospital. If I could rate it higher I would. Well done to all the medical team and I will be requesting to go back to this centre in the future.

ENDOSCOPY UNIT BRILLIANT
All these negative entries appear to be about the surgery but i had a colonoscopy a couple of days ago and the staff were of the highest order(the consultant not so much)...the staff were friendly, polite, caring , attentive, professional, explained everything and answered all my questions.
THE CONSULTANT....Mr Shetty...the sum total of his consent procedure was...there is very little risk, sign here....he never asked if i had any questions and when i said my specs were packed away with my clothes and i couldnt read what i was signing, he never offered to explain anything

My Mother in law was in hospital due to her heart, the hospital changed the medication. Went to the surgery to get her new prescription, receptionist said they had no notification from the hospital. Chased about hospital said they had, back to receptionist, her reply oh I didn't look back far enough, has mother runs out next day, said will send out next day. Oh surprise sent wrong tablets. So bad customer relations, can't do there job right or can't be bothered, or lack of training, need to get there act together. This is not fair on a pensioner who is a cancer survivor luckily she has family to

When I give myself time to think about it, I think this surgery is shocking. Mental health issues for around 13 years and GP never once cared to refer me to NHS psychological services. No diagnosis in 13 years, don't know if my medication is correct and no access to all the help available. Very bad service in this respect: negligent and dangerous. Very lazy to refer just someone for counselling without knowing what the real diagnosis is. Changing GP ASAP. Unacceptable.

Useless. All they do is to give you some paracetamol no matter what your problem is and fob you off quickly. Moreover, ladies at reception despite the fact that don't have strong medical knowledge (as I've learned from doctors on the phone some day), still feel that it's safe to tell you that your health condition is perfect and your tests turned out great, while 10 mins later doctor says you've got some mix of bacteria in your body. Stay away from them.
