What a brilliant service from all at Chapelthorpe today. I e mailed ask my GP this morning and had a response within an hour and then a phone call from the doctor and a brief consultation over the phone. The doctor deemed I needed an appointment and made it for me there and then. I was then running late due to an unforceen emergency and the doctor still saw me when I eventually arrived. The receptionist was also fantastic as I rang to explain my situation. 5 stars! Thank you

This practice used to be brilliant however since new reception staff have been recruited the service is terrible.
I had to use ask my GP service to request test results only to discover it was offline. Phoned three times, on the third call someone picked up and basically refused to help me, stating "They were too busy, no one is available to give me my test results".
I've now lodged a complaint to two resident Doctors plus the NHS Ombudsman. Fortunately I recorded the call and managed to get a name.
I suffer from Epilepsy and I'm now suffering chest pains, loss of breath, jaw ache and neck pain

Under the very difficult circumstances that the whole of the NHS is facing I think the surgery is coping extremely well. My self and my husband have had to use ask my GP on a number of occasions, if we need seeing we get seen, if we need a prescription its sent directly to chemist, no problem at all.
The only problem I had was getting someone to answer the phone. I ended up going through to the emergency option as that was the only option answering the phone. I then spoke to the practice manager. From there onwards the care we received were second to none. The GP contacted my husband the same

I have veen with Chapelthorpe most of my 49 years. I've always found them to be good,up until this week. I did an ask my gp message regarding a persistant cough. I've had it a good few months. The receptionist rang me and said a gp from TRINITY would call me.y trinity when I'm with Chapelthorpe. A NURSE rang me and referred me back to Chapelthorpe. They have just rang and surprise i need my chest listening to. They can't see me until a week on tuesday. To say I'm mad and this could have been dealt with sooner (had i spok3e to Chapelthorpe and not trinity is an understatement. If i had wanted someone

During this pandemic i am sure it has been difficult for all GP surgeries and staff however have to say I am more than satisfied with the service received from our Surgery , from GPs , Nurses to all the staff .
After my recent query which I made through Ask my GP ( on the advice of a staff member) , Faye rang me and gave me lots of information all of which have assisted my query . She was so friendly , knowledgeable , efficient and caring , I notice on other reviews Faye has been mentioned again with positive comments so felt I should give her a mention again . Thankyou .

I don't often write reviews but on todays experience with this surgery I really need to.
I have an elderly mother who has chronic heart failure, is frail and also becoming forgetful. It was necessary for me to ring to clarify the time and purpose of an appointment my mum had today.
My first contact by phone was with Fay, well I honestly cannot praise her enough, my mum was confused about an appointment she had today and Fay was brilliant in that she was able to confirm the time that my mum was due there. She also answered the phone within a couple of rings, for a Monday morning when I just cannot
