Services
Excellent food - really tasty and a wonderful selection. Really good customer service - even if there is a mistake in the order, they are quick to fix. We've been ordering from Noor for years and it's definitely our favourite takeaway in Edinburgh. Delivery can take a while, especially on the weekend, but it is worth the wait.

Ordered via website for take out for a friend's house. OMG! I was so satisfied. Outstanding! Very well prepared, large delicious pieces of chicken and lots of it! - Much better than anywhere else I've tasted in a long time and really good value for money here! It was sooo tasty, I had to leave a review out of appreciation! First class - thank you.

We ordered a takeaway from here this weekend and it was easily the best Indian takeaway we've had. Very crisp flavours, delicious peshwari and tandoori chicken. Can't fault it!

Zero calorie curry
Zero calories because they accept your order and money, but don’t deliver your order. Tried calling and messaging and no ones answers 🤷🏼‍♀️ refund would be grand thanks.

Spent £40 on a takeaway, opened the rice to see it covered in mould. They offered a £5 and some extra rice, completely unconcerned. Disgusting. Have taken photos as evidence.

Ordered for the first time last night and was very impressed! Delicious food and kudos to the delivery driver who left the food on the step before retreating safely to his car where he waited until I opened the… door! He even refused the tip I offered and suggested I drop it into a charity box. Brilliant service and will definitely order again. :)

I've been traveling Europe for 3 weeks, and have made it my priority to sample Indian food in each country. This is by far my favorite Indian style food I've eaten in Edinburgh. I almost ate everything. The cook even came out to chat when I explained to the waitstaff of my journey. Would recommend for sure if you're into Indian style cuisine. Even if you're not...give this place a try. Reasonable pricing and great food. What more is there to ask for.

For many years considered Noor as one of the best Indian take away in Edinburgh. However, lately the quality of service hit rock bottom. Ordered veggie Madras (hot) and Dhansak(medium) curries. Madras supposed… to be with red chilli sauce and Dhansak with pieces of pineapple. Both curries looked and tasted exactly the same. Also, neither chilli nor pineapple was found in my curries. It looks I received random curry with veggies. Disappointed.

I am usually not a fan of Indian food, but this restaurant completely changed my mind. I fell in love with their food. (Definitely get the garlic naan.)

The food is definitely prepared fresh and comes in large portions. I stuck with curries and saffron rice while some of my friends were more adventurous. Each dish left everyone satisfied and completely stuffed.

It is a charming restaurant that seems to predominantly get it's business from carry out. The actual dining area is relatively small, so not ideal for large groups. (We managed to fit 10 of us at one point.) Don't judge it by

This was our salad to go with the brick hard pakora - we order regularly - not anymore! I gave the manager a call to advise I would not serve this salad to animals and really they should be taking pride in the… food they serve - gave him ample chance for driver to return with some sort of refund this never happened - so so disappointed!!

Does not honor allergy requests when they've explicitly said they would, and you find it after you've paid and they deliver.

Ordered three times from this restaurant. We were clear we had medically-ordered dietary restrictions and wouldn't be able to have the food if they couldn't preparer accordingly. We were ok leaving if they couldn't. We just needed to know.

First time, ordered saag paneer. No problem. Dietary restrictions were respected. Dish was overly spicy when we had asked for mild (too much what seemed to be pepper) and not the best Indian we had, but that&apos

This is a very tasty and convenient option for Indian takeaway in Edinburgh. You can order online and get it straight to your door for a reasonable price and very quickly. They stay open quite late, too.

The portions were all large. All of their varieties of nan were especially tasty, although also huge. Yum.

My new favorite takeaway. We've lived on the the southside of Edinburgh for nearly two years and somehow had overlooked Noor. Our loss!

Noor provides an outstanding product, with good customer service, at very reasonable prices.

Saag paneer is my very fave curry, so that's how I judge most Indian places. Their's is superb -- just spicy enough and the spinach not pureed. Great pakora and naan. The chicken korma is very mild. Working our way through the menu.

On the last visit I had placed a large order that was not ready when I arrived to collect it. A tech glitch had

Noor was my Indian of choice for the first two years of my uni life, and while now I will occasionally stray from it, I'll always end up crawling back. The curries are huge, well cooked and really cheap. Although they are arguably not as sophisticated as many other curry houses, they still make a mean Dopiaza and friends.

Found on Nicholson street it clearly caters to students and the prices reflect this. You can get a meal deal with a curry and rice or nan for £6.95, and one will more than fill all but but the fattest of fatties. As well as this they and a la carte menu, with all the normal

Noor is definitely up there as one of my favourite takeaways. They serve really traditional and authentic Indian dishes which are of excellent quality.

Noor's menu has a vast selection of fine Indian food which are very well priced at around six pounds for a main meal and you can see the chef's preparing your meal in the back. I love their Chicken Tikka Buhna which is full of flavour and spices. They also have met menu's available which include starters, a main and rice for just under seven pounds per person. They also have a wide variety of vegetarian meals which are priced at

Noor is totally deserving of my first 5 star review, and you'll now see why.

Whenever I want an Indian takeaway, there is only one word on my lips - Noor. For the past few years, it has stood out for me as a purveyor of some of Edinburgh's finest takeaway food. I totally agree with what Jonathan said: there are cheaper places, but they don't quite measure up.

All of the food I have ordered from Noor has been top notch. I tend to go for the less spicy end of the spectrum, so stick with kormas and bhunas, occasionally stepping up to a tikka masala or rogan josh. All of the food
