Services
We would like to thank all our wonderful customers for these nice comments - we appreciate them. Absousluty outstanding food and service that is quite simply the standard from here now over a good few orders. Each dish has outstanding flavours and is very authentic to true home Indian cooking. Full of fresh produce its easy to see the cooks care about each and every dish and it most certainly shows.

Over many years I've ordered so many different dishes,..... Anybody who gives this takeaway taste sensation any less than five stars... Is bitter maybe because there was a delay... Most likely traffic
I can't get enough.... Choose here.. Amazing!

Food was really bad. The rice was uncooked. My partner's lamb dish didn't have much of meat and my dish was as bad as his. It felt that someone opened a jar with ready sauce and added the smallest amount of meat. I don't recommend it. It used to be a great place but not anymore..

I have ordered here so many times since 2019 that the staff members seem to sometimes recognise me - the food is delicious, portions generous, prepared quickly. i wouldn't order takeout anywhere else in edinburgh because ruchi's is always consistent. ONCE (out of many times) they missed out one of the curries (we ordered for 6), and when they sent the order again they included free vegetable pakoras. cannot say a bad word about this place, amazing stuff!! :)

Stunning food and always generous portions. Arrived quickly and still hot to the touch! This place will forever be my go-to for curry in the city.

This is one of Edinburgh's best take aways. The food is fantastic and they are usually very fast. They have a good range of classic curries as well as the chef's specials that are well worth checking out. Good garlic naan and good sized portions. Highly recommended.

We got the House Thali combo (3 mains, 1 veg, 1 starter, rice, and naan) for £24.95, and it provides good bang for the buck, err, pound. And for the various dishes, you can really taste the component ingredients, especially the almond and cashews used in the sauces. So I really wanted to rate this place better, except for a couple of things. The Lamb Chops and the Tandoori Mixed Grill were overdone -- from slightly dry to very dead. And, for the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Lamb Pasanda, the sauces were very sweet. For the Lamb Pasanda in particular, it was sweet enough that I mistook it

Great wee Bangladeshi & Indian takeaway situated on London Road. The guy (presumably the owner) who serves you is really polite and friendly every time and he even holds the door open for you. I'm happy to say that I've never had a below standard curry from them yet, but unfortunately the breads are kind of average.

It's the only place I go for a takeaway curry in Edinburgh.
