Face Coverings : Unless you are exempt please wear a face covering when on school premises. Throughout the year we observe all the children, using the Leuven Scales of Well-being and Involvement. When children are happy, show high levels of well-being and are able to become deeply involved in their play, they are able to make greater progress in their learning.
We value the knowledge and experience of parents and carers and work in partnership to build on the children's previous learning and to raise their levels of Well-being and Involvement. All the staff members, who work directly with the children have had training on attachment and the effects of technology/screens on young children's brains.

Services
It now shares premises with the St Andrews Way Children's Centre. We make up part of the large campus with Cippenham Infant and Primary Schools. We take children of 3 & 4 years of age. We can offer places to children the term after their third birthday if there is space. The majority of children attend 3 hours per day, either mornings or afternoons, five days a week.
The groups are named after creatures, Butterflies, Caterpillars, Bees, Ladybirds, Rainbow Fish and Seahorses. These groups are of mixed age and gender. In addition to this extra staff offer support to children with Special Educational Needs and English as an additional language. Your child and their members of staff will get to know each other very well, especially during group times.
We work to the Curriculum for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). It states 'Parents are children's first and most enduring educators, when parents and practitioners work together in early years settings, the results have a positive impact on the child's development and learning'. We aim to share children's development with their parents and wish this to be a two way process.
We are happy to hear from parents, or members of the community, who may like to volunteer in the Nursery. As an eco-school, we are keen to recruit those with an interest in gardening to help with our new planting area. Sharing books in the library corner is also a very worthwhile activity. We provide placements for many students on training courses or work experience and have dedicated members of staff to support them.
