The large enclosed, secure garden with soft play and artificial grass allows for outdoor activities to be scheduled and enjoyed all year round, giving children maximum opportunity to be out in the fresh air.

Millwood House is an individual family owned private day nursery which has remained in the same hands since it was established in 1991. Our own family home was extended and skilfully adapted for nursery use. Much thought has been put into creating a 'home-from-home' ambience which is cosy and inviting whilst also being professional, stimulating and educational.
Our senior staff are qualified with NVQ Level 3 in Childcare. They also have a combined total of more than 50 years experience at Millwood House. We encourage our Practitioners to continue to refresh their training and knowledge on an on-going basis. We arrange regular in-house training courses, day release to attend courses and also time to refresh knowledge online with Educare.
Yes, please contact us on 01753 645500 or email admin@millwoodhousenursery.co.uk to make an appointment to have a tour around our nursery. We are also available for early morning sessions starting at 7:30am - please contact us to discuss fees. Yes, your child will be appointed a Key Worker who will keep a schedule of his/her progress ready to discuss with you at any time.
We have a fully qualified and experienced nursery Chef who plans nutritious meals. We adapt our menu to suit your child's needs and gradually introduce our main menu as and when your child is ready to move on from weaning stages one and two. We have been awarded a VERY GOOD rating for our food hygiene by the local authority.
At Millwood House each child is encouraged to learn through play. Our curriculum covers all the areas of the Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS) which sets standards for learning, development and care for children of all ages from Babies to 5 Years. A Learning Journey is completed for each child which is shared with their parents.
