Services
Pipasha is a Cambridge, UK restaurant which has been serving Indian and Bangladeshi food since 1999. After moving to the UK from Sylhet, Bangladesh in 1975 we joined the catering business and worked for several years in other restaurants. Eventually we felt there was an increasing demand in Cambridge for a restaurant which would provide quality food with great service at a reasonable price.
Of course, not everything can be the same again. We understand that some of you may still be cautious about dining out. We can assure you we are doing everything to adhere to government guidelines and implementing our own rules to keep you as safe as possible. We will only refund the booking deposit, if you cancel at least 24 hours prior to your booking with us.

Starters were great, probably one of the best I’ve had. The main I had the saag aloo and my partner had the chicken madras, both with cheese and garlic naans. The sauce for the chicken was made to a good flavour however the chicken was a bit chewy (overcooked), saag was delicious and so were the garlic naans. I requested for the cheese naans to be made again as they didn’t have enough cheese. Overall experience was 8/10

The Pipasha family had been an extension to the East Anglian Air Ambulance crew. In those long nights, particularly at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic they would always looked after us. Now, in more 'normal' times we regularly go there. Great atmosphere, great food, great smiles. Booking in advance recommended to avoid disappointment!

After all the recommendations we finally ordered from here and was really looking forward to a nice curry. Dont normally leave reviews but was very disappointed so felt I had too. The chicken was very dry and swimming in lots of oil. And the rice was dry and bland... abiit on the expensive side and quite disappointing!

Amazing first ‘dining in’ at Pipasha Restaurant starting from the welcoming and super friendly waitresses taking care of their customers to recommendations on favourites and delicious specialities. Great… selection of dishes depending on one’s liking as well as the place’s marvellous atmosphere and care throughout the whole service. Will be definitely visiting again! Thank you!

From being greeted at the door by the friendly, attentive staff members to the restaurant being clean throughout has made our visit particularly enjoyable. It's maintained by the staff to a great standard. The… food was fantastic. Both of our starters and mains were delightful, especially the chicken rezella. We have had a great night and cannot wait to revisit soon!

We visited Cambridge for a few days and this has been the best Indian restaurant we've been to. If we had time to go back, we certainly would have done. There was plenty of choice, especially if you are not keen on spicy food, and it was all very tasty. The service was very good and reasonably priced food. The menu was downloadable from your phone which is good with COVID. Highly recommend a visit.

Really friendly staff. Their interaction with their regular customers was really impressive. The owner personally had a dish cooked for me which was not on the menu. It tasted awesome. This is a proper old school Indian restaurant which is very rare these days. They really care about their customers. Cannot recommend enough. Will definitely be visiting again.
