I have always enjoyed my meals at De Luca over many years. I had not visited for a while but it was as good as ever. I had an excellent soup to start, my partner the super squid with chilli jam. We both chose the chicken stuffed with cheese, with cream and thyme sauce - delicious, the sauce a star. Cheesecake for dessert was light as a feather but rich and perfect to end. A special credit to all the team, service was slick and friendly. The chefs in the small open kitchen were working incredibly hard too. Thanks for a great evening.

A group of us went for our Christmas meal this week and had to wait an hour & a half for our main course! The head waiter was then very rude to one of the ladies in our party. On top of this our table was… positioned right underneath the heater and we had hot air blowing out on us all evening which was stifling. Too many tables crammed in and not enough attention to customer service. Don’t think I will be returning!😠

When I came here, I was a little disappointed to find they weren't doing pizzas at the time. If you don't include those, there aren't all that many vegetarian options available here.
It also wasn't super clear when they did offer it.
The risotto I was able to have however, was perfectly serviceable and the desert was quite nice.

My partner and I had a table booked here for Sunday evening to celebrate her Birthday. It was after a bit of research I read very good reviews about the restaurant.
Upon arrival and then sat at our table, we were told there was no spaghetti bolognaise (which was a shame as it’s my favourite). I looked at the rest of the menu to see it was a lot more slimmed down than what I had seen online. I questioned this with the waitress who said they were closing the following day for a week and with only two chefs in, they could only offer a reduced menu. It would have been nice to have been told this

THE BEST Italian restaurant in Cambridge. Do not go anywhere else. This is such a favourite of ours that we're there twice this month 😂
Great food all prepared on site, great atmosphere, lovely cocktails and above all - fantastic customer service, the most important thing as far as I'm concerned. Seriously recommend a visit, especially on a Saturday night when the pianist is playing.

I ate here with colleagues from work. A colleague of mine was quite upset with the British humor from the waiter as he was looking for vegetarian options.
I ordered a Filet Mignon with peppercorn sauce and the steak was tiny! I think the four cherry tomatoes on top of it were larger. The steak was OK.
Nothing special here. Our service was not good since my colleague was pissed at the waiter from the beginning of the service. 2.5 stars.

Being solo on a Friday evening in Cambridge and without any reservation, I was a bit apprehensive of finding a place with an open table, good food and drink, but without the crowded rowdiness of the weekend. Walking along Regent Street, De Luca's inviting window frontage compelled me to enter.
The staff welcomed me as a walk-in, not relegating me to an out-of-the-way table off to one to one side as some do. Rather, I was seated at the table of my choice, right in the front of the restaurant.
The Gin and Tonic was as expected and performed its job to take the edge off admirably. I began

We had a very good meal and pleasant service here. My husband found the risotto too bland, but my 12-year-old son gobbled up the lamb special. I had a beet salad and squash ravioli that were both delicious. Prices were reasonable compared to other restaurants in the area, although I'm suffering from sticker shock as everything in GB Is costly if you're bringing dollars to the table.

Thought we'd try this on one of our buying trips to Cambridge. Three of us were pleasantly greeted and seated in the rather bright but dated main restaurant. It all seemed a bit forced and unimaginative, dreadful art work too. A new waiter was in training, unfortunately being tutored and educated by a rather over zealous more experienced waitress. I have worked in the restaurant and hotel trade as part of my job and have never seen paying customers being used as training dummies, especially without being asked first. The food was very, very bland; baby squid, with peppers linguine (a special

Just on the outskirts of Cambridge central city shopping area. I have heard good reviews on this place.
We went early about 6pm on a Wednesday evening and it was already half full. A trendy restaurant bu the 'trendy' rustic tiled floor meant we had a wonky table but the waitress was quick to spot this and resolved with a folded napkin!
Waitress very knowledgeable on both food and wine. The have a open kitchen which I think is always nice and you can watch as they prepare your food. The service was quick.
The starter of prawns were delicious and the duck main was satisfactory. No room

A great fusion of italian and british cuisines with not one pizza in sight. The menu wasnt huge but there was a good choice and the starters were fantastic. There's a really good wine list too. On a saturday night there is piano player which adds a nice atmosphere you can relax after your meal with a nice cocktail. Downstairs is a nicer place to dine than the overflow room upstairs, the service though where ever you sit is very good and cant be faulted. I like the fact that its isnt slapbang in the the centre of town as you get a different crowd and more of a loyal customer that returns because

DeLuca is a stylish bar/restaurant with a great vibe and first rate food. As you would expect, the antipasti platter is a winner, but so are their pasta and risotto dishes. It's not particularly cheap, but it's also not the most expensive place in town. Service is superb and the staff and management are friendly and fun. It's a great night out.

The best word to describe this classy restaurant is a fusion of Italian and British cuisine. Located just on the busy Regent Street is this nicely built restaurant. The environment is the strongest point of De Luca. The interior design of the back room dining room is just phenomenal, Good light tone, cool music vibe and glass roof. The front room bar offers the best quality drink my friend has had in a long time; cocktails to tantalise your tongue and the fun part is choosing your drink from an exclusive list.

A pleasant restaurant with just the right relaxed, controlled, Italian atmosphere. Excellent service from poised and courteous staff, and a wide selection of dishes to chose from.
On summer evenings it is particularly enjoyable to sit beneath the high, conservatory-style ceiling in the main restaurant - a gem which can go otherwise overlooked on darker nights.
Watch out, however, for the table water which is bottled, not tap (if you flinch mercenarily at the sight of a clear, shiny bottle advancing your way with the promise of lightening your pockets unnecessarily.) The artwork around the room
