Great service, we were left to catch up as friends, and I’ve been going for years and it’s just another level of Italian food. Great service- I had the porcini pasta and then the lemon sorbet to finish. Both delicious- a treat meal.

Absolutely fantastic, a trip to heaven. Excellent quality food. The best tiramisu I've tasted so far. Last but not the least, a cozy and familiar atmosphere that gives you the impression you are eating in Amalfi Coast. Brill!

I always enjoyed the food here! I had the homemade pasta with prawn, mussels, clams, etc.. The taste and texture of the pasta and sauce were amazing and the seafood was really fresh! My fiance had a medium rare steak which was cooked to perfection! The calamari and whitebait tempura were really tasty too. Shame I couldn't have dessert because I was already full! Would definitely come back again. Staff are nice. Facilities are clean.

The restaurant was crowded even if it was weekday and daytime. Regardless of such situations, staffs were friendly and their service was exceptional. And of course food was delicious. The price is a little expensive but taste is worth the price!

The food was served fast however when you go inside the waitress offers you an appetizer which is normal to get for free in any restaurant, however at then end of the bill you’ll have to pay £6.50 extras for it. Moreover, the food was tasteless. I ordered the risotto with king prawns and kormal prawns and sadly I only got the crust of one king prawn and one and a half prawn cut in pieces in the whole dish. The amount of meat was shameful and the taste wasn’t special, prices were terribly high. I would never recommend or come back again to this restaurant. The service was terrible as well.

Loved, loved, loved this place! The wait staff was amazing and the food followed suit. We had the veal ragu pasta and the ribeye bisteca, both amazing. Italian wine recommended fit the meal and we enjoyed the chocolate "fondant" dessert which is a soufflé that is worth the wait. Overall, a fantastic meal.

Only drawback, maybe food needed to come out slightly quicker. But then again they were busy. Staff excellent, food amazing and the top floor has such an amazing setting!! Definitely going back again :)

Went with my partner to meet an ex colleague of hers...there's an upstairs (didn't know)...it feels a little cramped but not as noisy as downstairs

The food was again excellent and the overall bill excluding the large G&Ts & wine would have been fine

Good service yet again

Definitely a little gem in that part of town

We found this place on line to eat as we had attended Evensong at St Paul's and wanted to find dinner somewhere nearby. We both had the prix fixe menu and it was wonderful. Super attentive wait staff. And a great find.

Because of a last minute snafu, we changed our dinner plans to Rucoletta. From the initial phone call to see if our large party could be accommodated, to the last minute addition of a family friend who ended up being able to join us, Alessandro and Maria (I hope I'm remembering their names correctly) were magnificent. Warm, welcoming, and attentive, from the first round of aperitifs to dessert and Sambuca, they made the celebration of my niece's graduation a meal to remember. The food was delicious, but the service will make this a regular stop whenever we're in London.

Authentic Italian in the square mile. They accommodated a party of 9 (we booked in advance) flawlessly in their top floor room which nice and airy. The food was very good the service was friendly. The wine was good too. All in all we spent around £55 per person having 3 courses which is fair enough given the location and the quality of the food. Most of their pasta if not all of it is homemade. The cuisine seems to be prevalently from the Neapolitan area which makes it particularly interesting even for Italians. We had a very nice evening overall and I will definitely be back.

Great authentic Italian food in London! Reminds me of the pasta I had in Italy. We ordered the scallops and squid ink appetizer, the beef carpaccio, the pacchero pomodoro, the scialatielli mare, the taglitelle vesuvio, and the squid ink spaghettone. Pasta was cooked wonderfully al dante. I really enjoyed the squid ink spaghettone and the scallops appetizer. Service was a bit slow but this place does get busy during lunch.

I've been to Italy and this is authentic Italian, in all aspects- recipe, ingredients, quality, flavor. Artichoke appetizer is delish, tagliatelle bolognese is delish, risotto is delish, great wine list, Panna cotta and tiramisu how it is supposed to taste, all at reasonable prices. Hope to return soon.

I love this place! Traveling frequently and solo to London for work, it's nice to have a warm, friendly and welcoming little neighborhood gem like this to retreat to after a long, jetlagged day. The cute waiters come bearing prosecco and Aperol spritzes with smiling faces, delicious salmon and tuna crudos make me feel virtuous, and then they hit me with the amazing pastas and I'm suddenly stuffed, relaxed and very happy to be in London again. Hidden away on a cobbled side-street, Rucoletta is such a find. Definitely give it a try for a reasonably priced, beautifully prepared meal, served

The food was incredible. A small establishment based out of South Italy, the food was riveting. The chefs are friendly and truly artists in the kitchen. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the red sauce was brilliant. I loved the environment and experience. I cannot wait to come back!

Tried through Groupon, added bread basket to our order, but the bread was cold (out of the fridge!), and they refused to warm/toast it. Pasta was too tough, and potritions were on the smaller side. Tiramisu is just average, not what you would expect from an Italian restaurant

I went to Rucoletta for lunch and had the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese. It was absolutely delicious. I found the pasta perfectly cooked and the red sauce was excellent. I will definitely come back for lunch or dinner next time I am in London.

The dining area upstairs was intimate and I really enjoyed the low key atmosphere. It was not noisy, at all and I was able to enjoy a lovely conversation with my friend.

I highly recommend Rucoletta for meeting up with friends, or even a date night.

A lovely place for lunch or dinner. Its small, cozy, romantic and intimate. From a distance we thought the place was closed, but it was actually open so actually go up to the door to check.

Prices are not bad at all - lunch/dinner three course fixed menu for 20 pounds! However, note 12.5% service fee is added to the bill, although no cover charge.

Food was good for the most part. The bean soup and mozzarella toast appetizer were wonderful. The bread with the meal was not free and not that good - some chunks of oily foccacio. The fish dish had a very small portion - just a sliver with the skin

I would give them 4.5 if I could.
My husband and I originally planned on going to another restaurant but we ended up here and we are so happy that we did!

I ordered a seafood pasta and my husband ordered a sea bass dish which was included in the 3-course meal menu. We both loved our food.
I am not a huge fan of noodle but their handmade pasta was impressive. Definitely different from other pastas I have tried before. It was delicious!

I also loved their green olives. I asked the server and she said they were from Sicily. The best olives I've tried. You need to order them on the side.

Exceptionally priced offer for dinner.

3 courses for £20.. ok £19.99 in the heart of the city 2 minutes walk from St Paul's is to be applauded.. even more so when the food is good.

Tucked away on a side street just off Cheapside this Italian has improved since I last visited it 3 years ago. This time I had a pizza base starter that was quite filling with a rich tomato and basil base. The dough reminded me of the doughnut bread and had a similar texture without any sweetness. I liked it.

The main of Polo Millanese had a succulent chicken wrapped in bread crumbs with a side of buttered

What can I say about this amazing Italian restaurant based in the city location of St Paul's? It's my favourite of course. Been back so many times with friends and it's friendly service and fresh menus( changes did to season) never fails to impress me or any of the Friends I bring along. Some have even told me they have returned with their friends too. My favourite starters are the fried seafood and the Parma ham... I still last after the Pork dish I had it was amazing!!!

What a pleasant Italian restaurant in St Pauls. Went for lunch yesterday with a colleague and waiters were generally pleasant. There were a lot of reservations but we were able to do a walk in and sit upstairs.

Generally catering for business and working clientele, the upstairs is very sunny and bright in the afternoon. It tends towards more quiet business conversations.

Food is really good. Portions are just right so you are not overtly full. I ordered their Tagliatelle Vesuvio £13.45 Home made fresh egg taliatelle with veal meatballs, porcini and chestnut mushrooms, cream, chilli and parmesan

An awesome restaurant! I can't rate them highly enough.

Well an excellent start for any restaurant, I know you're saying. But they truly were hospitable and enchanting. We got a deal on wowcher and paid a third of the price for a full meal. We only had to pay for any drinks and desert and everything else was free on the night. A wonderful atmosphere and staff. Actually ended up paying almost nothing on the night. Gave them £10 as a tip.

The food was wonderful, we started with a selection of meats, cheeses and ciabatta with olive oil which was beautiful, then I had chicken and

I had the prefix Bruschetta (starter) which was delicious with fresh tasty tomatoes, the Tagliatelle Bolognese (main), which was very good as well with a hearty meat sauce and vanilla dessert which was not to my liking but my partner at his and mine.

My partner had the salad to start and it was a bit too salty (maybe too heavy on the dressing), and the Pollo Paesano for his main dish. The chicken was moist and yummy with a spicy kick.

We were both happy with the bill and the £31 dinner price.

Delicious mains. I tried three of them (three of us shared!) - slow roasted lamb shank was very tender and flavourful, baked salmon was nice, fresh with crispy skin and my own order of seafood semolina pasta was absolutely amazing. For all seafood lovers - I would definitely recommend it.

Mozarella and tomato salad was good. Tiramisu was VERY good (beware - portions of tiramisu are a bit on the large side here!) Service was on the slow side, but that's only negative (well, non-positive) point. Other than that - atmosphere, ambience were those of a family run restaurant, dimmed lighting, quiet

Excellent small and authentic Italian restaurant where you will hear Italian spoken among the servers. Happened upon the Christmas prix fixe for 28 quid and it was three courses of goodness - happened upon the sea bream - had not had before and it's a great white fish. Also had panettone served warm for the first time in my life and now I don't think I can have it any other way!

Also excellent prices for wine!
