Due to demand and changes in Government regulations, guests are now able to book our outdoor tables to dine with friends and family outside their household. Our outdoor terrace is equipped with heaters and umbrellas. We recommend dressing warmly outside. Please do note that should the weather change, we unfortunately aren't able to offer a table inside but we ask any guests to contact us to cancel your table in advance.
The Ivy Market Grill offers two stunning rooms for private dining. The Pygmalion and The Galatea are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day of the week. In keeping with our location in the heart of London's theatreland, both rooms are decorated with photographs featuring stars of stage and screen.

Amazing cheese souffle and sticky toffee pudding. I really enjoyed both. My sea bass was also nice. There is an extensive range of cocktails including mocktails. The highlight of the evening has to be having the apple tart dessert flambe at the table, such a unique experience.
The decor is also lovely, especially the ladies powder room. Service was great. Gluten free options are shown as AG on the menu. Each portion was also substantial, especially the apertifs.

Give it a crack, nice food and more importantly really nice staff, can become a little overcrowded but the key to success is to book ahead.

The Ivy Market Grill is magical in tastes. We booked it for brunch for 4 people. Booking process was smooth online or you can book on call too. In brunch you will get to order from breakfast as well as lunch menu.
We ordered Fish & chips, Avocado Benedict, Hot buttermilk pancakes with cappuccino and some mimosas. Food was fresh and well cooked.
The whole dine-in experience was great for brunch. We didn't feel like rushing ourself out, we took our time to finish.
I would definitely go next time to enjoy the rest of the menu !

What a delightful and incredibly place to relax and dine.
Our daughter and boyfriend who live in London booked the table.
What a surprise, it's modern yet old fashioned, the place is we lit warm but it was the finer details that were attended to so we'll.
Polite staff, helpful and with a smile, all dressed with smart and crisp attire that just made you feel you were special.
The hint of 1930,s in the decor and dress and the way staff were just so attentive made it worth the visit.
The menu is just another world of its own, as you read the simple yet descriptive design of the foods on offer

My only complaint is getting lost and going to the wrong Ivy in Covent Garden. Despite being extremely late the waiting staff were patient with us. I never felt rushed to order my food. My food choices were mouth watering and amazing. I wish they had dairy free ice cream choices as I couldn’t have ice cream with my dessert. However, mine was flambéed which made me feel like a VIP. Thank You so much

Overall it a good restaurant...the food is good but I believe it's over hyped...especially with the prices.

There are significantly much better restaurants with much better food at a lower price than this one in the Covent Garden and SOHO area.

I have had breakfast and lunch and both were ok but really overpriced. Food was nothing special.

Actually I recently had the steak tartare and within an hour had diarrhea.

When we passed this location, I was promptly educated on how popular/famous the Ivy was. The hype behind my impromptu lesson was not in vain. The food was amazing. The service, exquisite. The atmosphere, lovely. Def worth checking out.

Attentive staff, great timely service and delicious food. The duck salad starter was absolutely wonderful! Very reasonable prices. Book a table to ensure you're not disappointed as it gets very busy. Close proximity to alot of theatres! We had 2 courses within an hour and didn't feel rushed.

Lovely food and lovely experience. The first time I’d been to such a nice restaurant. Would recommend to all who come to london and it is easy to access. Would recommend booking before arrival because it gets busy quick 😁
Other than that I hope people enjoy

One of the nicest and professional staff around Covent Garden, the Breakfast is at a decent price not too expensive, we loved the interiors there it gives you that special feeling. The silverware used at breakfast makes you feel like a king after a good night out. Highly Recommended we will be definitely coming back.

Had a wonderful dinner experience with friends at the spin-off of the iconic Ivy. Similar menu, similar ambiance, less celebrities. Easily accessible next to Covent Garden. A bit more relaxed than the original, still a great time had by all.

Loved this place. A great British feel to it. 5 star For the service and the food. We went for dinner here after our cocktail at Shard. The place actually was closing at midnight I believe but we left late from this place around 1.30 am. It was late , they were kind enough to let us be there. Our server was a very sweet person. Good food especially the polenta cake. We even got to celebrate friends birthday with a cake. We would highly recommended this place to anyone. Cheers!

Loved our entire dinner experience. Restaurant is lively and located in a fun area. Service was top notch. Perfect spot for our last family dinner in London. Kids menu options were nice. We enjoyed risotto with lobster and the market veg salad to start. The hamburger and salmon were hits at our table as well!

One of the many Ivy's around London we booked here for lunch as a last minute to meet some friends. I am glad we did as the food, location, ambience and service were all really good.

The only small negative was my fish and chips sat T the counter too long and resulted in soggy fish in the middle but the taste was sensational. They also have a vegetarian menu here with vegan choices and the vegan main course was delicious. The desserts were divine and we loved the melting chocolate ball with caramel sauce, heavenly :-)

Service was excellent and choices of drinks plenty. They were very quick

Tucked into Covent Garden is this quintessential idea of what a British pub -- a fancy British pub --should look like. I had a shepherds pie, which was insanely delicious and not what one would expect it would look like. I sat at the bar and had the most amazing service by the bar staff. My wine was divine, but not as magical as my epic dessert, which they lit on fire right in front of my eyes. Touristy though it might be, this is a restaurant not to be missed, both because of the exquisite food and the impeccable service. Oh and even though the Brits don't normally do tips, they're happy

Great meal almost ruined in the last 40 minutes. Arrived at 6pm with my wife and girls for nice Friday night dinner. Service started prompt and very friendly.

Decor was great, with lots of old posters and photos. The mood is dim lighting and romantic with a trendy crowd. After a full day of museums we felt a tad underdressed.

Food was easily 5 stars. No kids memues, but our girls did just fine either with fish and chips or a Starter + Side Dish. In our case our daughter ordered the Prawn Appetizer with a side of chips. I ordered the Truffle Arancini and the Market Special Halibut. Both

We came here for a Saturday morning brunch and really enjoyed it. The neighborhood is great to walk around and this particular restaurant is laid out well and has lots of space.

My wife and I both had A Full English Breakfast and it was banging!! The eggs were cooked perfect and super fresh (you can tell by the orange'y yolks), the grilled tomatoes were lovely, the smoked bacon was crisp and salty (and not too smoky), the mushrooms were delicious, and the baked beans were perfect. The only thing we didn't love was the sausage, and the black pudding (disgusting... just look up what

Came here to catch up with a friend who I hadn't seen in a decade and it was the perfect spot. We were originally squeezed into a table between two other couples but asked to move to the little booths adjacent to the bar where we could have a more private conversation. We were easily moved.

Food and service was good as usual. Truffle arancini are a must have - they are seriously better than anything I have had in Italy. Salmon main was very overcooked despite having asked for it to be pink in the middle and asparagus slightly hard.

That said, the ivy is always a great dinner spot. Loved

I was recommended this location as a reasonably priced breakfast spot from my hotel concierge. I am always a fan of trying new places so off I went. The location was nice compared to my hotel. The exterior was a proper old English building. As I entered I was greeted and seated promptly. I liked they had a sign say no photography. Of course I did get my yelp pictures.

I was seated at a nice little table with a cute napkin that contained the restaurant name and logo. My waiter was polite and prompt. He even asked me if I needed additional normally forgotten items - thanks.

I decided on the eggs

We had a lovely Christmas Eve brunch here. Well, the food was lovely - the service was shoddy and a bit unprofessional, which was a shame.

I had eggs Benedict, and the Hollandaise was exceptional. My dining partner had the Shepherd's Pie and was very happy indeed, but I thought the portion was on the small side. That being said, the eggs Benedict was a large amount of food - and comes with chips - and we couldn't finish it.

We also had a couple of cocktails, which were tasty and inventive, but mine was entirely too strong, and despite it not being touched, no attempt was made to rectify

Great meal with a very accommodating staff. Our first table was uncomfortable and cramped. When we asked for a change, we were moved to a much more comfortable location, perfect for a reunion of old friends that live in opposite sides of the pond.
We had lovely cocktails and a very nice bottle of wine to compliment our meal. The scallop appetizer was perfection and quite delicious. The lobster entree was on point . Fortunately, we saved room for desert . The chocolate profiteroles were yummy. We also enjoyed a perfectly prepared creme brûlée and lemon pannacotte.

My family and I were in London recently for a night and met up with some family for dinner. We were looking for something British and settled on this restaurant. It had a nice old school feel to it with its wood finishings and decor. Decided on the Shepard's Pie, which was a little different from the classic but quite good. The desserts were also very tasty of which I remembered the apple tart the most.

Great find in Covent Garden. From the host to the bar and wait staff you cannot ask for better service. The cocktail and wine list were amazing! I recommend getting the Tuna carpaccio and also their famous lamb shepherds pie!

This is going to be my frequent stop when I'm in this area.

Please stop in, you won't be disappointed.

Second time I'm going for breakfast in one of the "ivy" and I love this retro atmosphere.
The ivy market grill made me feel like in an old train station cafe in the 30s.
The music is really retro as well!
I ordered a cappuccino with the avocado tomatoes poached eggs. It was really good and fulfill ! The service was great and fast
I totally recommend this place if you are looking for a cosy and original place for an amazing breakfast/brunch
