The staff member who checked in was pleasant and went above and beyond to ensure out needs were met. The room was tidy and warm. The beds were comfortable and it was generally clean. The noises from the taps next door could be heard. If staying with children upstairs should be offered as there was a band that could be heard from the first floor. Breakfast- ran out of white bread which is questionned because this is a key ingredient offering a fried breakfast.

Lovely old pub with great views sat outside. Stayed in a cottage nearby so came in here every night just for drinks. Very friendly staff and attentive landlady who noticed her customers and even supplied ham and biscuits for all the dogs. She even got us a drink to thank us for our custom. The only downside was I felt like a child having to ask to go to toilet.

The food was absolutely amazing! We had been somewhere else the previous night and had exactly the same meal and there was no comparison. I would advise anyone to book to avoid disappointment. Honestly couldn’t rate them high enough. Very child friendly and made to feel 100% welcome. Best food we have had in a long time.
