Loved this pub, so old school, very unique with quite several gluten free options on a menu. We ordered burgers and one was made with a gluten free bun, they can also serve gluten free bread when ordering soups. Very pleasantly surprised!

We’ve been coming here for large group lunch and dinners for many years now. It’s always been good but this year was even better. Excellent service. Delicious food. And a wonderful atmosphere. It’s not only a great place to eat but it’s a proper pub too. Something many “gastro” pubs fail on. This one doesn’t. It’s a great favourite!

We had Christmas dinner with 40+ friends. So impressed by the service and more by the incredible food all served hot and at the same time. Compliments to the chef.

First time here even though mama lives in st margaret’s and I’ve passed it a zillion times . Very chic interior and super friendly staff. We had the chicken peanut salad starters with fluffy thick chips on the… side . Pricier than the average ‘pub grub’ but worth it for the excellent quality and impeccable service . Definitely recommend and parking available on site . Dog friendly too !

Went with a group of work colleagues. Separate function area provided. Service excellent. Drinks reasonably priced. Food well presented but although tasty could have been better. Probably because of catering for a large number. Menu was limited. However the menu for individual's families, couples etc looked very inviting. Just think a revisit to try would be a good idea. Also lovely outside seating area.

Staff kindly (and speedily) got us another dessert after a mix-up, no questions asked. Nice outdoor seating. Friendly staff, great service, good atmosphere. Tasty food, though could have been hotter. Fairly expensive but not overpriced.

Great pub with both an informal pub area and more formal dining area, as well as beautiful garden. Good menu with both veggie and meat options, and they also cater very well for those coeliacs requiring gluten free food (they even have a separate fryer for the fries!). Have enjoyed many meals here and would highly recommend. It’s always clean and the staff are very friendly.

Four of us had booked a meal and it was fantastic.
The service was brilliant with a wide range of food and drink.
Came back later in the day to see if we could just have another couple of drinks as we had not pre-booked a table.
The member of staff we dealt with was really helpful (she remembered us) and duly found us a table in the garden for just over an hour which was perfect.
Top marks for a lovely place to eat and drink and all the best to you all.
We will return when in the area again.

Having recently moved to the area, have been trying out a few of the local pubs. This is definitely the best one I've been to. Doesn't look like much from outside, but different story once you are in. Also has a medium sized outside eating area with table service. Good food menu, with some decent light plates if you want a snack over a few drinks. Will be back again

The Crown is delightfully warm and cozy pub on a rainy day. They offer a broad menu of pub food. I always try fish and chips at least once while visiting London. The fish, battered and deep fried is tasty and crisp, not greasy. One of my favorites is green pea and mint mash. Light and flavorful taste to balance out the fish. We added a Czech pale ale to our order and enjoyed a flavorful lunch in St. Margaret's. If you are in the area, try the Crown.

My first visit to The Crown was on Tuesday April 26, when I attended a travel function there. We had been given a group menu, as there was 20 of us. From what they offered, there was a superb choice of food and certainly more than enough to satisfy the toughest eater.

Food was served to our group and what appeared was a total delight. Portions were exceedingly generous, arrived looking extremely inviting and tasted superb.

Staff are brilliant and could not have done more to assist, or make our evening more enjoyable.

I returned yesterday (Wednesday, May 03), to attend lunch with two friends

Having arranged to meet up with some good friends 'darn sarth' it was left to one of the Twickenham locals in the group to book us all a table there.

Our reservation was for 3pm and a few of us got there early so we grabbed a drink at the bar whilst they prepped our table (they do a couple of sound local ales so some of us went for those).

The bar was busy, but not cramped, though very family-friendly, so if you're intent on a quiet pint with no kids acting up, this is probably not the place to go for Sunday lunch!

When we'd all arrived we were taken through to the annex

A traditional pub, a stones throw from Marble Hill Park. This is perfect for a quiet pint during the week (£3.20 for a Guinness). At weekends it can get quite busy and on rugby weekends it's crazy. The only drawback is the food, overpriced for what you are getting and average at best.
