The Wellbeing clinic is on Monday afternoons and can provide 1-1 support to people aged 18+. The service provides support around issues such as low mood, anxiety, long term conditions, social isolation and other issues affecting wellbeing. Ask your GP if you are suitable for this service or call 0161 204 4675 to self-refer.

This Practice supports staff training and will close one afternoon per month. If you need to speak to a doctor at that time please ring the surgery and you will be put through to Mastercall who will be covering at that time. In an emergency you would still dial 999.

This Practice is committed to ensure that any ill child that needs to be seen will be accommodated the same day. If clinically indicated, we would also arrange a follow up the same day to monitor our patient's clinical condition.

NHS Digital have the power under the Health and Social Care Act 2012 (section 259) to issue a Data Provision Notice. Recently a Data Provision Notice was issued for Research and Planning.
Adshall Road Medical Practice has a legal duty to explain how we use any personal information we collect about you, as a registered patient, at the practice. Staff at this practice maintain records about your health and the treatment you receive in electronic and paper format.

We will collect information such as personal details, including name, address, next of kin, records of appointments, visits, telephone calls, your health records, treatment and medications, test results, X-rays, etc. and any other relevant information to enable us to deliver effective medical care.
Hypertension/High Blood Pressure Clinic - Monitoring of, and treatment for high blood pressure. Spirometry Clinics - Assessment, treatment and monitoring of chronic obstructive airways disease. Long term medication management - monitoring for patients on long term medication requiring regular blood tests.
Having an ill child can be a very scary experience for parents. If you understand more about the illness it can help you to feel more in control. This booklet is for parents (and older children) and deals with common infections in children who are normally healthy. There is a good guide on the NHS website which describes various conditions affecting children.

They have continually messed about with my medication resulting in pain withdrawal symptoms and caused me to take legal action against them and Stepping Hill, BOTH ARE MEDICALLY NEGLIGENT

I phoned the doctors on behalf of somebody else that is a patient here. The where so kind and professional and so fast with the help. Best service I have used, it was so welcome after spending the last two hours trying to get help from the 111 service. Amazing job

I am seriously shocked at reviews of my surgery. I had bloods done yesterday and a gp called me at 8 this morning. I have been off colour 4 a few weeks. Feeling terrible tbh. My daughter has a rare disorder sadly and can become poorly quickly. I have 2 grand babies also registered with this surgery and its 1st class. Even better than private. Gp's we see are amazing, caring and understanding. Receptionists always try so hard to fit us in.and care. Ur amazing. Thank you so much. X

Very friendly and efficient. I have always seen a Doctor very quickly and I've always had faultless and speedy treatment. The other reviews all seem very bitter and misanthropic.

This practice lost my registration forms, urine tests and misplaced blood samples. Each time I visit if my appointment time isn't wrong someone else's is. I can call and check my allocated slot in the morning and by the time I arrive at the building it has changed? Very frustrating for my husband who takes time off work.
Staff try hard but something just isn't working at all! Reception and GP staff are mostly friendly. Midwife and health advisor team completely useless and never save your number. If pregnant or planning a pregnancy I strongly suggest moving.

I would like to make a complaint about this surgery. My sister has come down from oxford to stay a couple of weeks after having given birth to my nephew. He currently has swelling on one side of his head and she has been told by the midwife in oxford that if the swelling hasn't gone down whilst she is on her visit then to take him to the doctors in Manchester. She came to the surgery to register him but the receptionist and one of the doctors said as she is on holiday they won't see him unless it's an emergency! Clearly it is an emergency if she is coming to register him so that he can be seen

Receptionists are the poorest we've ever experienced. Lost our initial registration forms so we had to fill them out again. When trying to book in for travel vaccinations a month and half in advance, the receptionist was extremely unhelpful, first telling me that they had nothing available. It was only when I challenged this they managed to find 2 separate appointment slots a week prior to us going away, and I received a curt, short attitude for my troubles.
They have messed my partner's prescriptions up three times, costing us unnecessary money and time going back and forward, and not once offered
