Services
We have a large selection of modern and stylish frames free for NHS qualifying patients. At Specstore Opticians NHS patients will receive the same high standards of service as private patients. This includes retinal photographs taken of the back of the eyes. If you are named on an NHS certificate for partial help with health costs (HC3), you may also get help towards the cost of your glasses.

Booked online and got next day appointment. The appointment was great, the optician thoroughly checked my eyes, so decided to book for my son as I found his check up was too rushed at specsavers. The optician and the ladies at the reception were very helpful. Stayed with us through out till we found the glasses that suited us, didn't feel rushed. Would highly recommend this place.

L particularly like this Independent opticians because they have ticked all the boxes with regards to excellent service from everyone. Mr Latif , was able to explain all my queries whether its about my eye condition or care of my eyes or eye supplements. The store is lovely and has a good selection of frames.If you want great all round care and service this is the right place.

My 4 year old had an eye test yesterday, the optician was really engaging and made the experience really fun for her. When I was phoning around to book an appointment I was told by several other opticians that they only start doing eye tests for children from age 5 onwards. This place does eye tests for all ages, my two year old has an appointment next week. The optician told me he regularly does eye screening tests on babies from 6 months onwards. I was really impressed with the professionalism of this place and was so glad I accidentally came across this little gem in the middle of Barking town

I have been going here for 10 years, excellent service and hospitality. Mr Latif and the rest of the team have always taken very good care of me and my family. I've always found the prices to be competitive compared to other opticians. I like the huge selection of frames they have, especially the designer range. Many thanks guys.
