Services
Prince Bishop Vets opened its doors in 1984 and has grown steadily to this day when we employ six vets, five qualified veterinary nurses, 3 student veterinary nurses, 2 nurse assistants, three receptionists and two office staff. Our whole team are proud of the service we offer our clients and we regularly review our protocols and client experience to ensure we remain at the top of our field.
In the event of a veterinary emergency, please call us straight away to speak to one of our receptionists (during normal working hours) or our on duty nurse (outside of normal working hours). We will be able to give advice over the phone and assess whether your pet should be seen by one of our veterinary surgeons.
This interactive questionnaire can help you understand your senior pet's health, and decide whether to arrange a consultation at Prince Bishop Vets. As a caring owner you'll know that healthy food, exercise, loving attention and an occasional treat are all your pet needs to live a happy life. Prince Bishop Vets are here to help you keep your pet healthy and active for as long as possible.
We have a fully functioning dental suite including dental radiography which means we can take the best care of your pet's teeth. Prices for a full mouth radiography and a scale and polish start at 270 for cats and 270 for dogs. We offer free nurse appointments if you would like your pet's mouth checked, or would like to learn how to brush their teeth.
We offer a wide variety of nurse clinics at our practices which can be booked online, or by calling our reception team on 01207 590 340. The clinics we offer include post-operative checks, weight clinics, laser clinics, physiotherapy, dental checks, rabbit incisor trimming, nail clipping, anal gland expression, dietary advice, tick removal and more.

I couldn't be more thankful to this wonderful veterinary practice and their knowledgeable, kind and helpful staff that truly care about their patients. Every appointment we've had has been excellent with staff that are enthusiastic about their job and truly put the comfort and well-being of animals first. I couldn't recommend them more. Thank you so very much. 🙏

We have always had a good professional service from people who really care for both our dogs and us. We travel quite a distance but would never dream of going anywhere else but Prince Bishop they are simply the best.

Very disappointing recently, customer service from the reception team is non-existent - the usual vets are great but the communication, estimates and treatment plans are terrible currently.
They have looked after our three dogs over the past 10 years and we have always approached our pets care with a "whatever they need" attitude but over the past 12 months this has resulted in multiple, excessively large bills whilst suggesting at the point of sale it's just a small procedure or low-cost investigation.
The pet care plan now covers very little and we have struggled even to get the flea, tick

I would 110% reccomend Prince Bishop Vets.
My Rottie had to have tplo surgery on both knees and the whole team were so supportive for her needs as she can be a bit reactive to people she doesn't know.
Even if I moved out of the area I would still go to them as thier compassion and professionalism is fantastic!
Thank you so much to the whole team over the past couple of years with my girl.

Both of our dogs are registered with Prince Bishop and they are absolutely fantastic. All of the vets, nurses and staff are professional, friendly and always willing to go the extra yard.
When my other dog was in the final stages of her life last year, they could not have been more compassionate and explained everything as the final days approached.
A good vet is hard to find and I can highly recommend them, do much do that we travel 30 minutes to see them rather than use a more local vet.
