Yoga in York at Tamsin Yoga, is a beautiful way to improve flexibility and strength, de-clutter the mind, become more focused, relaxed, find inner balance, let go of the past and breathe. Each Yoga class will begin very relaxed and slow. Focusing on the breath, we will take the time to let go of the day and unwind.
Slowly warming up with some gentle movement which will build up to some strengthening flowing stretches. Once we warm up we will go deeper. Hi, I'm the founder of Tamsin Yoga, I have been teaching now for 16 years and practising for over 30 years. I love the way yoga makes you feel, It doesn't matter what kind of day or week you might have had, yoga just makes it all better. Overall these years what inspires me the most are my students.

These popular Pregnancy Yoga classes in York are a great way to stay flexible and mobile, throughout your pregnancy. Pregnancy Yoga is specifically designed to help you feel relaxed, calm and in control Pregnancy Yoga of your birthing experience. Come and enjoy a good stretch with some flowing Yoga movements.
Mum and Baby Yoga In York will be starting up again soon. Please get in contact to get yourselves on the waiting list. You'll be the first to know once a new date is arranged. Mum and Baby Yoga will be run as a 5 or 6-week course, so everyone will start together and go through the course together. Mum and Baby Yoga can be booked if you already have an existing group of friends with babies as a private course.

I love what your doing tamsin and I'm hoping us students are managing to keep your business going! Your amazing! I'm really emotional atm so dont get me going but I totally look forward to your classes as does oscar and the fact you do give the odd class for free is just totally what I'd expect from you! Your a lovely amazing person and I have… never committed to a exercise class if any description for more than 3 months in the past! It's been nearly 3 years with you! I think that says it all really ❤ zoom classes with you are just as good and enjoyable for me as in person! we all

Tamsin's classes are always fun, challenging and clearly carefully planned. They're suitable for all levels so if you're feeling as if you'd like to take it easy, you can but can also push yourself a little further if that's what you want. The relaxation at the end is always fab :) Highly recommend!!

I joined the class new to living in York. From the start Tamsin welcomed me to her classes with her warm and encouraging approach. This is one of the best yoga classes I have ever done. Tamsin goes at the pace of the class, ensuring we are fully warmed up and stretched, each week building on what we have done creating some great flow movements over the weeks.
Tamsin is a very experienced and knowledgable teacher and I feel great after each session, as if I have had a great workout but by the end totally relaxed. The classes have helped me, over time, become more flexible, stronger and confident

I joined Tamsin’s yoga class around four years ago when I was experiencing back pain and migraine headaches and joining yoga has improved my health, flexibility and I always leave class feeling great. When I first joined as a beginner I was nervous about whether I could keep up with other more experienced yogis but Tamsin always gives lots of options so you can take an easy variation, really challenge yourself or just simply relax and breathe. Tamsin has been my yoga teacher for 3 years. I love going to the weekly classes on Wednesday evening at Jacob's Well. I have learnt so much. Tamsin is an empathic teacher, with a zest for life. I loved going to Tamsin's pregnancy yoga classes and would highly recommend them. I went to classes at Miller's Yard whilst still working and then switched to the classes at Market Weighton when I started my maternity leave and met some wonderful ladies at both which, as a first time mum, was great to be able to make new friends and chat about… pregnancy and birth. Tamsin's classes helped me to be calm and collected mentally during pregnancy as well as preparing my body physically for birth by learning extremely useful breathing techniques, birthing positions and how to take care of my back
