Clarendon Veterinary Centre
Clarendon Veterinary Centre is a friendly small animal practice, and we take great pleasure in offering the best care to our clients and their pets. Our aim is to help your pet live a long and healthy life. We are always happy to offer advice on any veterinary matters. Clarendon Vets is one of the longest established veterinary clinics in Weston-super-Mare and is situated near the centre of Weston in an extended Victorian Villa.

The practice has been extended and extensively refurbished. This allows us to offer the best environment and level of care to our patients and their owners.
Services
Our recently renotavte facilities enable us to provide the best standard of care anf offer a pleasent environment for our clients and their owners. Clarendon Veterinary Centre is accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, and is regularly inspected to ensure that the high standards expected are maintained.
Pets can have the worst timing, such as falling ill or getting injured late at night or over the weekend. Sometimes those unexpected events can happen when our practice is closed. That's why we have teamed up with Vale Vets in Portishead, our local 'out of hours' vets, to ensure you have access to the best possible care, whatever the time of day or night.
Advice from our veterinary team on how to prepare and support your pet through recieving vaccinations and the correct worming treatments. Along with deciding when or if to neuter your pet. Kittens: First vaccination from 9 weeks followed by a second vaccination 3 weeks later. Immunity not till 5-7 days after 2 nd injection.
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!
We've partnered with Video Vets Now so you can speak to a vet from home or out and about - 7 days a week between 8am and 11pm. Consults are 10 mins and cost 24. If your pet needs to be seen by us or Vets Now, your original 24 payment will be refunded. We partnered with Video Vets Now to help you get the advice and reassurance you need, wherever you are.

Always great service and advice on caring for our four legged family member. Our pooch has arthritis and is only 6, having had a hip replacement to ease the condition. She also has a lot of allergies. Clarendon help us to manage her conditions and they treat her kindly and with care and attention. Admin staff also helpful and remain calm and caring even when faced with worried and stressed owners. Would highly recommend.

My perfectly healthy cat went in for flea treatment, they discovered no fleas so gave her a steroid injection to "ease" pain for a mild rash on her back, which had been treated years prior. Without informing us of the risks involved or what the injection contained, we left believing the professional conduct on part of the vet. Over the course of a week, our cat rapidly deteriorated in health, she couldn't eat or drink and lost a lot of weight. Took her back in for an assessment to find that the injection she was given can cause untimely death to animals with underlying health conditions and at

OK. But slow despite not being busy I notified my arrival (early morning appointment, no other patients) still waiting 35 minutes after my appointment time. Receptionist so busy chatting while doing my cat's prescription she gave me the wrong thing! Not impressed.

We were on holiday with our do. The receptionist listened to our concerns and gave us an appointment the same day. The vet was helpful and friendly and gave me options and was genuinely concerned about our pet. Very impressed.

My dog is quite nervous of the vet because of a couple of bad experiences from a previous vet. Clarendon were recommended to us from a friend so we moved our dog here. The way the nurses/vet take their time to make my dog feel at ease is brilliant! Highly recommend 👍
