Services
If you are not sure whether osteopathy can help then have a free 15 minute consultation where I will take a case history and find out about your problem. I will examine the area and will give you a diagnosis. If osteopathy can help I will explain a proposed treatment plan. You can then decide if you want to continue with treatment or, if unsure, you can walk away free of charge, you are under no obligation to continue.
Paul is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy and registered with the NHS Directory for Complementary and Alternative Practitioners. He is also registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and is a member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS). The GOsC, established by The Osteopaths Act 1993, provides for the regulation of the Osteopathic profession.
Osteopathy is an established recognised system of diagnosis and treatment that looks at the structure and function of the body. It looks at the whole body and not just the symptoms. People are individuals and everybody is unique, different body types, diet, lifestyle, occupations, medical/ personal history, physical and mental stresses.
Most patients come to the practice by way of personal recommendation from either previously treated or existing patients. Patients are also regularly referred from local GPs/Group Practices, suffering from musculo- skeletal problems. Many local companies refer employees for treatment, normally within 24 hours of their injury.
MSDs are the second biggest cause of absence from work, affecting over 1m people at a cost to the economy (estimated in 2007) of J7bn. They include problems such as low back pain, joint injuries and repetitive strain injuries. If you are self-employed, taking time off work with musculoskeletal problem can have a devastating effect on you and your family's financial security, so getting back to work as quickly as possible is essential.

I found Paul to be a terrific Osteopath! After many GP visits and blood tests to determine the source of my numb, tingling hands, I looked up and found Hoddesdon Osteopath...to be the nearest to me. Paul responded to my message promptly, offered an almost immediate appointment and was able to identify my problems - after a initial consultation - straight away. He is also competitively priced. I've had three sessions with dedicated exercises to work with at home and am much improved. Paul also has a pleasant manner that puts you at ease from the outset. Thank you Paul!

Paul was great at diagnosing the cause of my back problem and what needed to be done about it. He set out a plan to gradually decrease the appointments but stressed it was down to me to do the exercises. I've reached a point where I no longer need scheduled appointments - proof that Paul is interested in recovery. Professional but friendly and also good at replying to emails when I had any questions. No hesitation in recommending him.

After suffering severe lower back pain 2 weeks ago, I received 4 sessions all of which got me more mobile, back to work and now pain free. Paul is worth every penny, very knowledgeable, effective and his advice for bad posture and alignment is second to none. I first visited Paul 15 years ago to rectify a similar problem, and strongly recommend his services to anyone suffering and living with constant pain. 5 star service cheers Paul

Paul is an excellent Practitioner! I was first treated by him a few years ago when I was experiencing severe pain and discomfort all over my body. I had undergone numerous tests which cost £1000's with no relief or confirmed diagnosis. On my first visit to Paul he confirmed that my bad posture was the source of my distress. He gave a detailed explanation, worked out a treatment plan and gave exercises to do at home. Years later I am still pain free and for this I am forever grateful. I have and will always take great pleasure in recommending Paul’s Osteopathic services to others.

Paul offers a friendly and professional service which helped enormously with my lower back pain and bad posture. The treatment sessions are informative and supplemented with exercises to do at home, which has meant I've been able to prevent further issues from occurring. Highly recommended.

Paul was quickly able to diagnose the cause of my lower back pain as due to my posture and bad habits when sitting at work and driving over the years.
As well as effective treatment, he helped me understand things I could do myself to recover; and with this I saw improvements within 3 visits.
He is welcoming and friendly, makes you feel at ease during treatment and above all a professional.
I would recommend to others.

Paul has been treating me over the last few months and has worked wonders with my back. He was able to see me quickly and always able to fit me in at times that suited me. Very reasonable price wise and for the level of expertise and knowledge. I was aprehensive about going as not had any treatment like this before, but Paul is always friendly and easy to talk to. Would strongly recommend! He has now treated myself, my mum, dad and sister all of who share my opinion.

I have been seeing Paul over the last 12 months, first was to sort out lower back issues which were treated and I was given home exercises to do to maintain my relief. Then more recently Paul has treated my Achilles' tendon again with exercise to help myself. Paul is very easy to talk to and his treatment room is always clean. I would not hesitate to recommend Paul. Many thanks Daniel.

I visited Paul after being diagnosed with a slipped disc in my lower back and suffering with daily pain. After regularly visiting Paul for the last 4 months my situation has vastly improved.
He is professional, the clinic is always clean and Paul makes you feel very welcome. He listens to your problems and advises on how to improve your situation in everyday life. After leaving I always feel refreshed and my back feels great, he is a true professional that has helped a great deal.
He advised me of some stretches that I could carry out myself at home, which have helped me to carry on with daily
