Services
At Brookmans Park Osteopaths we are like a family, we opened in 1999 and some of us have been working together in the clinic for nearly 15 years. In 2006 we welcomed Julie and she started the Podiatry clinic. In 2019 we welcomed Jon and we now offer diagnostic ultrasound services. All our osteopaths are registered with the General Osteopathic Council, Chiropodists and Physiotherapist with the Health Professions Council.
Osteopaths know all about pain and treat more than just backs and necks! From toes to fingers, knees to wrists, we are trained to treat the whole body. The majority of our patients come to us for back and neck pain, but if pain is in your life, you need to talk to us because osteopathy might help you.
The trouble with back pain is that it can do more than just give you a pain in the back! It can create difficulties with walking, sitting, bending and lifting. It can also be the cause of pain in the buttocks, groin or legs (commonly called sciatica). It can also be one of the effects of hip, knee and foot problems.
This term sciatica applies to irritation of the sciatic nerve that supplies the leg. However, the term is often used to describe any pain in the leg, whatever the cause, whether it is related to circulation, pain referred from a back injury, trauma or nerve irritation. An osteopath can usually successfully identify and treat the most common causes of sciatica.
Although exercise is an important part of a healthy lifestyle, sports injuries can affect men and women of all ages and abilities. Pain is often the result of localised swelling of tissue which creates pressure on nerves. An osteopath can diagnose the cause of the pain and take action to facilitate a speedy recovery.

Nick is a great Osteopath and has been the only practitioner we go to and completely trust if we have any issues of a muscular skeletal nature. That’s been the case over a good number of years.
Professional always and definitely knows his stuff.

Well my really painful back is beginning to feel a lot like Christmas after a (non covid) booster treatment by Nick today. Really didnt expect it to go from mega grim to pain? what pain? so quickly but Im in a very different space now from earlier today. So grateful to Nick. 😁

My first appointment today with Charley went really well, she was very thorough in understanding my shoulder pain and my personal medical background. I feel better after her treatment already and will follow the daily exercises and take note of the other small adjustments she recommended. Hopefully I will see a noticeable improvement by the time of my second appointment next week.

Very welcoming on arrival. Made me feel at ease from the beginning of the appointment. Took the time to talk to me and find out what the issues were, then explained everything that was going to be done in the appointment.
Would definitely recommend.

Excellent service. Able to get a next day consultation, appointment started bang on time, left with definite diagnosis after 30 minutes. Clean covid secure premises and all at a fair price. Diagnostic report received later the same day. Would recommend.

I've had long term issues with trapped nerves and chronic muscle strains - Nikki is amazing, I fully recommend her and the whole practice. They diagnose, help with talking to the GP and are really honest about the prognosis. Pain relief is amazing. I absolutely love this place and since I moved to the Isle of Wight, I come back here when I need treatment.

Went with back ache and quickly reassured it was not permanent. Over 5 weeks was give an exercise program and manipulated. Pain has gone from 8/10 to 1/10 (dull ache that I think will go over time) and been given some posture and lifting advice. Very pleased with outcome, quality of advice and manipulation. BP Osteopaths will be my first call if needed, though that is not my expectation.
