We have excellent OFSTED reports which are available for you to read. We cater for children from 2 to 5 years and prepare them for the move up to school. We have very strong links with local schools in West Hallam and surrounding areas, which makes this transition all the easier. All our staff are qualified and dedicated to the care and well being of the children.

Services
The Community Pre-School has provided care and education for children in the local community for more than 30 years. Our mission statement is to work on the basis that praise is better than criticism, promoting a safe, happy and stimulating environment in which children have the opportunity to learn.
The Community Pre-School is a non-profit making charitable organisation run by a committee of parents. This committee works closely with the staff to maintain high standards and provide quality Pre-School education through play. Without a committee we would be unable to run Pre-School, so we invite all of our parents to join the committee and to have a say in their child's early years education.
Pre-School fees are 10 per session. We charge a one-off registration fee of 20. From the term after their 3rd birthday children are eligible for Government funding for up to 15 hours per week. We can also offer up to 30 hours a week if your child qualifies for the Government 30-hour funding. Funding for some 2 year olds is also available.
We are pleased to say that the inspector deemed us to be "Outstanding" in all areas. The inspirational leaders provide staff with exceptionally clear and purposeful direction. Staff have created a stimulating environment to enhance children's enjoyment and adventures in learning. There is a strong commitment and relentless drive for further improvement from all members of the experienced staff team.
