At Silverdale Pre-school we aim to provide a safe, secure, loving environment where children of all race, religion, gender and ability can learn and explore at their own pace and feel at ease. We will provide a fun, stimulating environment where children will learn through play and hands on experience. We will encourage the learning of basic social skills that we feel are a good foundation for formal learning. We will endeavour to cater for all needs and everyone will be made welcome in our pre-school.
Services
We have the use of a kitchen, which is equipped with a cooker; a fridge, where the milk and any refrigerated food is kept, and washing facilities. Playgroup has its own microwave and toaster. Climbing equipment consisting of frames, ladders, slides, box, tunnel, steps, and tyres and much more for physical activities.
This involves helping children to develop a positive sense of themselves and others; to form positive relationships and develop respect for others; to form develop social skills and learn how to manage their feelings; to understand appropriate behaviour in groups; and to have confidence in their own abilities.
It is recommended that all items of clothing, particularly coats be clearly labelled with your child's name. Please provide a coat for your child whatever the weather. In warmer weather a sun hat will be provided for your child for outdoor play. If you prefer your child to wear their own hat please send one in that morning clearly labelled with your child's name.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS PRE SCHOOL!
I wouldn’t send an animal to this place, the most unprofessional people work here, they’ll all be lovely at first and too your face, but soon as your child has a problem with bullying. They’ll tell you you’re a liar. They’ll dismiss every problem and every worry you have. I at first thought it was the perfect pre school, but I promise you it’s not a “safe” environment.
And if you do have a problem try not to go through Elaine who runs the place who thought it was ok to shout in my face infront of all the other mums and dads
