Cranmer Pre School is located in Aslockton, just off Abbey Lane and is attached to Archbishop Cranmer C of E Academy, although we are a separate organisation. Many of our children who attend Pre School go onto join the Primary School but we also have children attending from the surrounding Villages and we welcome all children from the age of 2 years old.
We have a dedicated team of experienced staff members and a fun and vibrant environment in which children can learn. We benefit from the use of the School playing field and also have our own secure outdoor area with play equipment. We want children to experience as much as possible whilst they are with us and we encourage as much time outside.

Services
We have a lovely team at Cranmer Pre School, they all have their own individual qualities and a wealth of knowledge of the setting some having worked with us for 20+ years. All members of our team have an individual training and development plan which is discussed at their annual appraisal and monitored during supervision.
We ask them what they enjoy and what they want to learn next we talk to their parents and carers and we observe them playing and learning. Practical, first hand experiences, initiated by children's interests, lend themselves to the richest learning opportunities. Enabling environments with quality resources and sensitive adult support that is responsive to children's needs and helps children to become independent learners.

We welcome new members to the Committee and are active in fundraising to improve the facilities for children at Pre School. Please see a brief description below with a little information about the Committee and what it involves. The committee meets every month, at present the meetings are being held on zoom.
Cranmer Pre School is open Monday to Friday and children can stay for a whole day (including lunch) or come just for a morning or afternoon session. We also offer Breakfast, after School and Holiday clubs. Breakfast Club starts at 7:45am and children receive a light breakfast of toast, cereal and fruit juice.
