Welcome to Notts Gymnastics Academy where we focus on delivering classes suited to all abilities, in a safe, progressive and inspiring environment that has been instilled by our fully qualified and experienced coaches. Gymnastics is a fantastic foundation for any type of sport or exercise as participants will acquire greater levels of balance, coordination, flexibility, speed, power, endurance and mental skill.
Gymnastics creates a well-balanced, fit, healthy & happy individual who will be well equipped to face life's challenges. Participation and enjoyment in a wide range of gymnastics activities is provided by our 4 disciplines: Women's Artistic, Men's Artistic, Gymnastics For All, and Pre-School.

NGA's Management Committee has reflected over time and built on the ideas from our New Year's resolution competition and the feedback from our parent/gymnast surveys. The aim being to consolidate the vision for the Academy as we continue to build and grow. As a result we have agreed up on a set of 3 core #TeamNotts values - what they mean to us and how we will keep them at the heart of everything we do.
There is a large car park, but it can get busy, so please allow enough time to park and walk up to the gym. There is parking available on surrounding streets too - please respect that it is a residental area though, and please don't block access on Boundary Road. We are on Nottingham City Transport (NCT) bus routes and there is a bus stop within the Rushcliffe School site.
A responsibility of everyone involved within NGA is to ensure that we provide a safe and supportive environment for everyone especially the gymnasts. Please watch this highly regarded video clip from the NSPCC, named as the 'Magic Sports Kit' which helps us understand what the gymnasts may be thinking if they don't achieve their objectives.
I am mum to two boys, Ronnie and Sonny, who both love doing sport - Sonny is aikido and football mad and Ronnie loves aikido, swimming and gymnastics! Having just left a twenty year career in marketing and communications I am now focusing my time on family and following a passion to increase equality and inclusion in education and sport.

We took our son who loves gymnastics to a trial here at the weekend. he loves gymnastics, we traveled an hour for him to get some experience in a different setting.
Josh wrote us a kind mail giving us feedback on our sons performance on the day and although he didn't get in, said that the door wasn't closed and he would see him again in 6 months.
The fact that Josh took the time to reply despite training goodness knows how many kids really meant a lot. 5*.
