Kellah Farm Accommodation
Whether you're looking for a modern farmhouse Bed & Breakfast or a traditional self-catering cottage, Kellah provides comfortable accommodation in a peaceful countryside setting. Kellah has been a small hamlet since 1402 and has been farmed by our family for over 150 years. We are a working hill farm, breeding beef cattle and Scottish Blackface sheep.

In the early 20th Century it became miner's cottages, then eventually agricultural out-buildings as the properties changed hands. In 2006 we began converting the buildings into one unit and opened for business in 2007. Our two self-catering holiday cottages were previously miner's smallholdings and still have many of the original features.

Superb location, fantastic host - Lesley was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, plenty of car parking, brilliant shepherd breakfast including vegetarian options. Excellent location for “walking the wall” and the Pennine Way and equally for local walks! Drying room facility available.

From arrival until leaving, this place could not have been better. Warm and friendly greeting in a picturesque surrounding. A huge toy box for our little one to play with, plus an outdoor playground. The rooms are on a working farm, clean and comfortable. You can hire whole cottages too. The breakfast was impressive, great value for money. I would definitely stay again.

The room was spacious and clean and overlooking the fields full of lambs frolicking which put us in a happy mood instantly. We were made to feel very welcome throughout our stay and the breakfast was delicious.
