A very friendly place with knowledgeable clinicians. They are a professional team operating out of a clean, airy premises in an easy-to-find, convenient location in Southsea. The receptionist showed an interest in my cats and the vet was very helpful and informative throughout the consultation. Lovely, professional staff, warm and welcoming receptionist, thorough examination, a little treat for my cat, reasonable prices and good offers.

Services
The Cat Clinic is a unique veterinary surgery in Portsmouth, devoted to cats. Unsurprisingly, all of our staff have a passion for our feline friends and we aim to give cat lovers the best possible veterinary experience. From the moment you walk into our clinic, both you and your cat should feel relaxed and at ease: there'll be no barking dogs, no exotic pets, no stress - just a calm, feline-friendly welcome.
If it's not possible for you to attend the practice but you need some advice or your pet is unwell, we can offer you a video consultation. We would always prefer to see you face to face, but understand this is not always possible in the current circumstances. Step 1: Phone us and advise the receptionist that you'd like to arrange a video consultation.
If your pet has an emergency during our normal opening hours, please call the practice and we will advise you what to do next. If you have an emergency when we are closed, please contact our partners Vets Now on 02392 178098. Vets Now is the pet equivalent of an accident and emergency service, dedicated to providing pets with access to a vet out of hours.
Estimates will be provided for all surgical procedures and other services. Please note that we endeavour to keep our online price list up to date, but prices are sometimes changed at short notice. You should always confirm the latest prices by contacting us. You may obtain relevant veterinary medicinal products from your veterinary surgeon OR ask for a written prescription and obtain these medications from another veterinary surgery or pharmacy.

We try to stay fresh and relevant, but if we've missed something you feel is important, we'll happily add it. Just contact us if you have any suggestions. Cat had accident that required microsurgery to pin her leg. The whole process between vet, insurance company and the 'hospital' was seamless and I only had to sign paperwork. All were great at answering my questions and gave much appreciated support.
The Cat Clinic can be expensive compared to others, but the expertise and prompt reaction and advice on all areas of pet care makes it worthwhile. It's also great that as it's a cat practice, there are no dogs etc to stress our cat.

As a new cat owner I wanted to make sure my cat had the best experience with the vet and I liked the idea of somewhere that specialised in cat care. All communication with the team has been excellent - helpful, friendly and informative and always quick to respond to email messages. We received a warm welcome during our first visit and Chester was very relaxed about the whole experience.

You are made very welcome before arrival on the phone The staff are very friendly and listen They will get you an appointment without hesitation if your case is urgent.
They even let my Jessie Cat stay all day while I had work being done in my house Jessie is a very special rescue cat

I was lucky enough to come to the cat clinic 16 years ago when we first got our Kittens. The team at the clinic have changed over the year but every single person who has worked there treated ourselves and the boys like part of the family. Professional, caring, thoughtful and empathy. They killed my baby cat Tilly with wrong medication , sent her home from the cat clinic where she was paralyzed unresponsive and died a horrible death . I will make it my work to get get justice for Tilly she was only 11 months old I will never being my other cat cats there ever again .

Glad to have transferred freddie to the cat clinic, Helped out so much and kept me up to date with what was happening etc.. they take into consideration both owner and pet. What an amazing company. Also thankyou for today it was dealt with in such a professional and personal manner. much appreciated. made me feel at ease. great staff. I registered my previous cat at the Cat Clinic. They helped me to managed her chronic kidney problems very well and extend her quality of life. They were also gentle and respectful when it came time to say goodbye. They are equally lovely with my current rescue. Always friendly over the phone, and always willing to fit us in even during a full clinic. Regardless of how busy they are, they take the time to assess my cat properly and discuss treatment with me thoroughly. I only wish I could bring my dog here too.
