Fareham Creek Veterinary Surgery
Fareham Creek Veterinary Surgery became the first veterinary practice to open in the Fareham area when it was established in the late 1940s. We are located on East Street, close to Fareham town centre. The practice is independent and privately owned, not part of a corporate chain or group of practices and is one of the few remaining independent practices in the Fareham Borough.

All the staff at the practice are committed to providing a friendly, caring and professional service to our clients and their pets. You have a choice of two vets to see, all of whom you can trust to do right by you and your pet. You can ask to see the same vet each time you visit if you wish. We are an accredited General Practice under the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Practice Standards Scheme.
Services
At Fareham Creek we have a dedicated team of staff who want to provide the best service and care for their clients and their pets. We recommend regular health checks, vaccinations, internal and external parasite treatments; preventative measures that ensure optimal health and welfare in your pets. When we examine your pet we will gather a full history and perform a full physical examination.
There are a few things that Fareham Creek can offer you and your pet that makes us a little unique. This Surgery is independent, owned and managed by a vet and has been serving the Fareham and surrounding area for many many years. Why does this matter? The owner of the practice lives locally and tries to serve the local community and support local projects.
Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimising costs, we do not offer credit. We will, upon request, be pleased to provide a verbal or written estimate of the likely costs of treatment for your pet. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well.
Here are just a few things we are doing at Fareham Creek to reduce our impact on the environment. Separating out and recycling of all paper, cardboard, plastics, metal, glass and polythene. Solar panels which generate over 3000kWh per annum which goes some way to reducing our electricity usage. Any excess electricity generated goes back into the National Grid.
Premier Pet Care Plan is a pet wellness plan that makes it easier for vets to deliver the best possible care. It is not the same as pet insurance, which insures animals in the event of unexpected illness or injury. Developed for cats and dogs, our healthy pet plans are designed to be preventative.

Have used better. Not the most welcoming staff you might meet and the vet had little empathy for the animal we brought in. Oh...and don't try to park anywhere near...you won't be able to!

I have been going to Fareham Creek Vets for over 20 years with various rescue hounds. They are the best and every member of staff, receptionists, nurses, vets and everyone who works there is amazing. They all go above and beyond and truly care. They have saved my sanity with my animals on numerous occasions. We are lucky to have this practice in Fareham.

Professional people, friendly and very caring with the pets. Even my kitten is stressed while in the car, once she is there, on the vet table... She relaxes and enjoys the nurse or vet touching❤️

Booked in for rabies jab clear on the notes and was given yearly booster. Demanded a call back on Monday no call again on Tuesday so called to advise complaint to RCVS and now received a letter banning us from surgery lol the owner does not care about animals, if he did, he would have tried to sort this out.instead he sent a letter advising he tried to sort it ? And to take my pets else where within 7 days.
Be warned ⚠️ negligence is around the corner if you dont concentrate on what you do.

We recently found our hamster unresponsive and in a pretty bad way. We called ahead and went down to Fareham Creek Vets. Unfortunately there was nothing they could do but the vet was very gentle, explained everything and even took some ink paw prints for us. The COVID restrictions were very good, despite Government restrictions having ended. Our other hamster and our newest addition are both registered and are in safe hands.

The nurse gave Jack his injection for arthritis. She was very friendly, kind and interested in Jack's general wellbeing. The administrator/receptionist was also very helpful and friendly. A positive visit.

These people are amazing. They have looked after my cat Charlie since he was a kitten. Unfortunately, at 16 years old, he had to be put to sleep as he was very ill last month. Everyone there were so helpful, we spent our last moments with him in their garden despite lockdown. They then dealt with everything in a amazing and understanding way. My thanks to them all.
