We are a small animal practice in Hampshire, first established in 1965. We are passionate about animal care and our skilled team of veterinarians and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals. Because we love animals and strive to provide excellent continuity of care, we are open six days a week and have access to 24-hour emergency care.
We also offer free parking for clients at the practice. To help keep us all safe, please do not attend the practice unless you have a pre-booked appointment, or have arranged to collect food/medication.

We have three branches in Gosport, Stubbington and Fareham, so you are never far from an Alver Veterinary Group branch. We offer a caring and compassionate service to the furry members of your family. We will greet you with a smile and do our best to understand your needs as well as those of your pet.

Our team of highly dedicated and experienced veterinary surgeons and vet nurses are devoted to your pet's wellbeing. Your pets are always our priority. We all have our own pets and work hard to provide the same service to you that we would want for our own much-loved animals. At our surgeries we provide continuity of care, working with you to provide effective and high quality treatment.
Many of our patients are receiving long term treatment and are eligible for 'repeat prescriptions'. Usually, we see these patients every six months, although for some conditions and often at the start of a new treatment, this may be more frequently. If your pet is due more of their usual medication, please contact us no less than 48-hours before you would like to collect this.
In the event of an emergency during our normal opening hours please call your normal surgery and you will be advised what to do next. If your call is during the night or at the weekend whilst our clinic is closed, please contact MiNightVet Southampton on 01329 833112. MiNightVet Southampton is our preferred emergency services partner.

With strict covid protection in place they will only allow 1 human per pet at the moment. However, the care and attention given to the animals is second to none. Also, the staff take great care to ensure that the owners fully understand any and all instructions to help them care for their animals. Our Jasper wouldn't want to go anywhere else.
