You're Feeling frustrated with your lack of weight loss recently and you're not sure what to do about it. You aren't happy with yourself, you feel you need to do something about your weight but no idea where to start. You don't feel confident enough to join a gym & you're worried you wouldn't attend even if you had a membership.

Before I started working with you I'd had a significant period of time away from the gym and from most exercise, as I'd badly injured my knee at the start of the year playing sport and I'd lost my confidence to do much. I had also gained a considerable amount of weight which I was unhappy about. I had however recently started back at the gym in an effort to start the weight loss and regain the fitness I'd lost when first approached by you.
My clients are people who have realised they need help & support to become the best version of themselves. They have their struggles, they lack in self-belief, they are often low confidence. They've often tried other things before but not gained the results they wanted or not been able to maintain them.

Being 42 and being on yo-yo diets most of my life, I wanted to work with David to improve my thought process and get fitter.
David is very approachable and makes you feel at ease straight away.
We worked together to find practical strategies and ways of thinking that would help me, something I have never done before.

I would highly recommend David for anyone unsure or looking to get a personal trainer David is second to none. From the very beginning David was understanding and very clear of the process we discussed prices and I felt no pressure in making a commitment there and then. After commiting to David I had some commitments that meant I may not be able to commit to David for the 12 weeks but after speaking with him he was understanding and gave me the option to continue until I knew what was happening with my situation or stop the process. €œWhen I started I felt over weight and under motivated. I needed to find something to enjoy and get fitter. The free session sounded good & I was excited to give it a try. Socialising whilst exercising appealed to me in particular.
The members were very welcoming & I immediately felt part of a team for one end goal - lose weight and get fitter!
After 6 weeks, my best result so far is loosing just over a stone. I’ve attended the classes and made small changes to my diet so I’m very pleased with the results.

Ive been having coaching calls for the last few months as I've not been able to do group sessions and it has been really helpful. With the help of David I've been able to look at things differently and have been given help to try different ways of dealing with the issues i have been having.

I attended a free trial session which was a good session, nice group and David and Leonie were good. Unfortunately though I wouldn’t be able to recommend based on my experience with David. I found David to be pushy (hard sell) and I felt very put on the spot to sign up, when David gave me the prices I advised that I wanted to go home and discuss with my husband. David encouraged me to sign up there and then so I could get booked on and not miss out on spaces for the classes the following week and he said it was fine to go home and discuss with my husband and come back to him. Amazing support from both David and Leonie. Tried the complimentary group session and was immediately hooked. Such great atmosphere and really positive vibes. I can’t express in words just how glad I am, that I decided to join DMPT.
Before joining, I had been stuck in such a rut of yo-yo diets that never lasted, and I felt absolutely horrible about they way my body looked.
I did have a few reservations about joining, would I like them? Would they like me? Would I be any good at the exercise?

I have been with David and Leonie since end of January, and since then i have seen results after results!! I signed up to group sessions and have throughly enjoyed it so far as its so different from a usual gym environment! Them two are an absolute joy to be around and they are so positive all the time. They really care about you and your journey and can talk to them about anything. Defo recommend!!!

David Mackman Personal Training has been amazing. I started in February 2017 and at this point my body was not doing what I would have liked. David Mackman Personal Training has guided me through walking the Great Wall of China (May 2017) to re starting my boxing. Not bad for someone whose knees seemed to have given up at times...not any more! The process has helped me enjoy exercise again.
David Mackman Personal Training offers free sessions which are very beneficial and then offer various packages to suit individuals. Plus they offer group sessions with people who all want to improve their fitness

I felt like I was at rock bottom- I had no confidence and hated the way I looked in the mirror. I had tried no end of fad diets and nothing had worked in the long term for me. Working with David was amazing! Sessions were fun, ever changing and challenging and left me on a high! My measurements were fantastic- I lost over 20cm on my stomach but the BEST result would have to be my new-found confidence. I feel so happy and comfortable in who I am and have been taught how to maintain my new level of happiness!
