Acquaviva (Scaravelli inspired) Yoga classes for small groups are available in the Acquaviva Garden Studio close to Hove Station. Abigail's classes specialise in pelvic health and practices that improve quality of life, these women-only classes offer a safe space for yoga enthusiasts of all ages, so classes are also appropriate for peri-natal and peri-menopausal women.
These are all of the recordings of my weekly 'Yoga Solutions' Live sessions on Facebook. If I get a question, I respond directly to that, so if you scroll through the various titles you might see something that catches your interest. On the weeks I don't get any questions I offer a general principle in practice and guide you through something so you can have a direct physical experience of it.
This Saturday morning re-treat was a celebration of the relationships between the neck/throat, the wings/shoulders, and the face! It is the way we 'hold' ourselves in space that cause these common physical complaints, and it is the way we interact with the world and with the sense of weight that can change everything - The outcome is freedom for the neck and shoulders.
Because I dislocated a shoulder, my general 'kindness to joints' became an imperative for the shoulder, but the way of working discovered, does the same for all joints.

I had a thoughtful and informative three hour small group training with last Saturday. It helped me to connect more with myself after an injury and reminded me what I believe yoga is about - why I became a teacher and why I teach as I do. I started the next day to modify and quieten my teaching, still being me, but more of who 'me' is. I've taught twelve classes using part of what resonated with me. One of my students said on Wednesday it's the best class she's ever been to. This is how yoga is. Practicing it, doing doing it to yourself. Thanks . I'll be back

This approach goes very deep, I have learned how to support my body and tune into, and re-awaken my bodies natural responses, enabling me to sit & move with more ease, stability & freedom. To experience the wave is amazing. Attending the foundation has helped me develop as a teacher, my students are experiencing very transformative & incredible results from the practices I am sharing with them. , Abigail, Jane & are very knowledgeable, skilled & gifted teachers. I highly recommend the school for complete beginners & experienced yogis.❤️🙏😊
