Holly started Studio iO up in 2012 with the vision to create space that was far away from dark and cold village halls. A space that when you walked in you immediately felt calm and at ease. As a yoga teacher for the last 13 years Holly wanted a space where she could teach small private group classes. A popular space used for yoga workshops, longer day events, meetings and creative offerings. Make use of the small kitchenette to provide tea and coffee during the days event.
Services
Holly's classes are a mix of strong dynamic creative flows curated with a mixture of soulful and electronic beats. Holly also teaches more toned down gentle flows that restore and tap more into the para-sympathetic nervous system helping us to promote healing and change, through more body sensing and slowing down.

Studio iO is a tranquil, calming environment to practice yoga. By far my favourite Yoga spot in Brighton. Amazing, nurturing teachers, who make you feel at home as soon as you arrive. I would recommend to anyone who is thinking of trying yoga for the first time, or those who are advanced in their practice. There is something to try for everyone! I love their Yoga Nidra and Slow Flows. If you can’t get to studio, try beach yoga at Rockwater and Yoga in the Sky - experiences you won’t want to miss.

I was lucky to be able to attend the Glow Yoga session at Studio io in February. This amazing class was taught by the lovely Holly Cooper. Her fantastic style of teaching coupled with the thoughtfully selected playlist leaves you feeling completely invigorated and without a care in the world. After class we went for brunch at youjuice limited where we devoured the most incredible feast of delicious and nutritious food. I’m definitely signing up for the next one!

The Glow Yoga and Youjuice brunch was a fantastic, unique experience. I'm new to yoga and wasn't really sure what to expect, but the lovely, bright studio, Holly's calm voice and clear instruction and the… combination of great stretching and blissful relaxation at the end is definitely something I'd be keen to do again. We all then walked together to nearby and enjoyed a really generous selection of tasty and healthy salads, juices, raw pizzas and lots of other deliciousness - I loved it, what a great idea to combine the two! Definitely recommend.
