Lickey End Pre-school
We provide a caring and nurturing environment for children aged between 2 years to 5 years. Formally known as Lickey End Playgroup, it was founded in 1987, by parents and carers looking for a quality local Pre-School. We believe strongly in developing a unique child, who will learn to understand the world through play, develop social skills, form positive relationships and learn to be expressive through arts and design.

There is a particular focus on safe outdoor fun and healthy living.
Services
Preschool operates on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday term time only. We offer 3 sessions: a full day of 9-3, a morning session 9-12, 9-1 which includes lunch or an afternoon session 12-3. We accept funding for free childcare places for 3 and 4 years olds, please ask for more details. 2 year old funding is available for those who are eligible.
Rising Stars takes place on a Thursday 9.00am until 3.00pm term time only. This session is designed for the older preschool children aged 3-5 years who are going to school the following September. Within this session we help prepare the children for the next stage in their education. By utilising our close links with the local schools, your child will grow in confidence and feel ready to start reception class.

My son attended Lickey end preschool before joining Reception this September, and he thoroughly enjoyed his time there. The staff are genuinely all so lovely, caring & friendly, he was well looked after and I felt confident I was leaving him in safe hands! He still talks about them now! I would (and do) highly recommend to anyone in the area 🥰

Our daughter started at Lickey End Preschool in the September of 2018, just after we moved to Bromsgrove. We chose Lickey End because at the time we didn’t know which school she would be going to and so we wanted her to go to an independent establishment. When I look back at all the changes and milestones Elodie has been through during her time at… Lickey End (including potty training), I can’t believe it. The staff have been fabulous in supporting Elodie through these changes, but also in supporting us as a family. Last September, Elodie became a Rising Star and I can honestly

My son loves attending this PreSchool. It’s really well run by a lovely team and has a good set up with the different rooms and outside play area. I’ve had regular updates on his development which is great and feel confident he’s well looked after when I drop him off.

My daughter started Lickey End Pre School last September, i was anxious and worried about my daughter starting as she wasn’t the most confident of children and thought I’d struggle to settle her. I couldn’t have been more wrong, I had arranged settle sessions for my daughter with Steph and she didn’t even need them. She skipped to pre school that… morning and didn’t even look back. I honestly can’t thank Steph and the team enough, they go above and beyond with activities and care of the children my daughter absolutely loves it. Thankyou so much everyone

I moved my daughter out of a local nursery to here when she turned 2 & can honestly say it was the best thing i could’ve done. She went from crying & clinging to me at every drop off at nursery to handing her stuff to me and telling me ‘bye, see you later’ in the first week of being here. She’s so much happier and any concerns i may have had taking… her out a nursery where she was learning alot but had been through 7 key workers in the 15 months she was there and crying every morning were put to rest when i had to go back to her nursery building with her in
