We first opened for business in 1966, and have been serving young families in the local area ever since. Our staff are what make us different and what makes Selly Wick first choice for parents in the area and further a field. All of our ladies are mums themselves so have first hand knowledge and experience from their own children as well as many years experience of working within pre-school settings.
Our longest serving member of the team has worked at Selly Wick for over twenty years. The setting currently has a Good OFSTED rating from our assessment in 2014. All the staff, directors and committee members are striving to improve the standard of our setting and provision to Outstanding. We actively work with parents to obtain feedback on how we can improve our service and look to implement as many of their ideas as possible.

Services
We are registered to take on 30 children per session and operate a waiting list, following criteria in the admissions policy. In the term following your child's 3rd birthday they will receive Nursery Education Funding. This entitles your child to attend up to 15 hours free of charge. Please ask the general manager for details of how these hours can be used.
It is our intention to make our setting accessible to children and families from all sections of the local community. We aim to ensure that all sections of our community have access to the setting through open, fair and clearly communicated procedures. We arrange our waiting list in birth order. We keep a place vacant, if this is financially viable, to accommodate an emergency admission.
