We are immensely proud of our school community and everything it has to offer. We believe that education is a partnership between home and school, and therefore, we ask you to work with us in our drive for continuous improvement so that we can help your child to achieve their very best. Throughout your time with us, there will be lots of opportunities to visit the school, get involved and express your views.
The closer we work together, the more we can achieve. Our website will give you a first impression of Temple Sutton, and will provide useful updates for parents and carers.

At Temple Sutton, we aim to give all pupils the opportunities to CREATE a better future for themselves. CREATE represents our school values of Courage; Respect; Empathy; Ambition; Tenacity and Excellence; these core values are integral to everything we aim to do with the children and will form a significant part of your child's experience at our school.
Our Chair of Governors is Clare Campbell. To contact the governors please send an email to the address below and it will be forwarded to the appropriate person. We often find that most complaints can be resolved quickly by speaking directly with the class teacher and/or a member of the leadership team.
Reception year forms part of the Statutory Early Years Framework in which children work towards Early Learning Goals and are assessed against this criteria at the end of the year. Development Matters is used throughout the year to assess children as they work towards these goals. Please ensure that you have access to Tapestry to keep in touch with what we are learning in school.
We believe that phonics should be taught in an engaging and systematic way, using a multi-sensory approach to our youngest children. The Read, Write Inc. (RWI) programme enables us to do this. Further information on the RWI programme can be found here. During the Autumn Term, children will still be able to access independent learning in the afternoon.
