This is written large in the lovely piece of artwork in our entrance area. Any visitors to our school immediately have a striking image of what we are about through this Mission Statement which staff, pupils, parents, parishioners and governors all contributed towards. However, it is more than just words on a wall because as you walk around our school, you will see this Mission Statement brought to life within our close-knit family.
You will see the LOVE and care which influences how we treat each other; how the close ties to our Parish ensure we BELIEVE strongly together in our Faith; while the hard work of staff and pupils, along with the support of parents, means we strive to ACHIEVE together.

Services
Welcome to the website of St Margaret Ward Catholic Primary School. We are a regular-sized primary school, of around 240 pupils, serving a close-knit community in the Sale area of Trafford. At our school, we pride ourselves on the caring, joyful and welcoming atmosphere which can be experienced as soon as you walk through the school gates.
As a parent of children at St Margaret Ward, you are automatically a member of Friends of St Margaret Ward. Some parents choose to be core members, whilst others help out as and when they can at specific fundraising events or by contributing time and resources to support the school. Fundraising events have ranged from family discos and after-school cake sales to race nights and family bingo.
Mrs Ezgu, our special educational needs co-ordinator (SENCO), and Mrs Murphy, our Pastoral Manager, are also available in a similar way to those listed above. Mrs Anne Toone is our chair of governors. If you wish to contact Mrs Toone then please email the address above or drop off your letter at the office.
Religious Education lessons are delivered using The Way, the Truth and the Life scheme, which is in accordance with the Shrewsbury Diocese guidelines. RE plays a central and vital part in the life of the school. The children are encouraged to recognise and appreciate the religious and spiritual dimensions of life appropriate to their age and maturity.
At St Margaret Ward, pupils have an opportunity to participate in Collective Worship daily. We pray together as a class, in groups, as a key stage and as a whole school. Every child is given the opportunity to pray by giving praise and thanks to God. Collective Worship provides an ideal opportunity to celebrate and acknowledge special occasions.
