The DfE have recently reinforced the need "to create and enforce a clear and rigorous expectation on all schools to promote the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs." The Government set out its definition of British values in the 2011 Prevent Strategy, and these valueswere reiterated in 2014.
At Broadheath Primary School we are committed to safeguarding all of our learners, staff and visitors. Safeguarding is a priority with arrangements in place to ensure learners feel, and are safe on school premises and during off site activities. All of our staff receive annual safeguarding training.

All school admissions are co-ordinated by Trafford Borough Council. Parents and Guardians need to apply direct to Trafford for a place in Reception through to Year 6. Your child will be offered the chance to visit the class he or she will be joining before starting in September. We have a 'Moving Up' day in July each year when all children spend a morning in the classes they will join in September.
