Artisan Cheesecakes was created in the McQueen family kitchen over many years as our young family grew up enjoying good home cooking, baking and preserving. In 2013 we opened our doors to the good people of West Lothian and their response confirmed that we had made the right decision. With the addition of our store in Edinburgh we now welcome people from all over Scotland and beyond.

Our own blend of Artisan Cheesecakes coffee is roasted exclusively for us right here in Scotland! Our coffee was matched after pairing our cheesecakes with artisan roasted coffee blends to acheive our exceptional and unique flavour. Choose from our extensive coffee menu in store, including our delicious decaf.
Our little Edinburgh store is nestled in the prestigious Bruntsfield area of the city, across from the leafy Bruntsfield Links which runs into the Meadows, an ideal spot for summer picnics. Whether it's our cheesecake, deli filled New York bagels, coffee, shakes or ice cream - we've got you covered!
You and your partner can choose from over 400 flavours of our delicious cheesecake to share with your family and friends. We know everyone is not a fan of the traditional wedding cake and many of our customers now prefer cheesecake as an alternative. However, we are happy to bake sponge cakes in any flavour you desire too.

Cheesecake was great. We had planned to eat in but when we entered we were ignored for 15 minutes by staff who did not acknowledge us in any way shape or form. Absolutely appalling behavior. I was left holding my baby for an unacceptable amount of time before anyone spoke to us and by then we had decided not to eat in due to the behavior of staff. The chefs were not wearing masks either so the level of safety being practiced is questionable at best

Today my husband and I celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary. Due to the current pandemic we are nervous of eating out so we ordered our celebration dinner for home delivery from Artisan Cheesecake shop. The delivery was speedy and the food was excellent. Everything was piping hot and well packaged. Thank you for making our day special.

I have just returned from a visit at your livingston cafe. My booking was 11.45am and we placed our order just before 12pm we ordered burgers. At 12.30pm i went to ask when our food would be ready to be told another 20 minutes as the order hadn't actually gone to the kitchen no apology given, we decided to cancel our order and leave. I had to almost ask for an apology no offer of money being deducted for our hot drinks. Apparently the staff member had not printed our order out. I am absolutely shocked staff didn't seem bothered or even to check that we had been waiting on our food this long

Went there today and had the mac cheese garlic bread melt, came with side salad and ready salted crisps (very generous sized portion). Then had vanilla &strawberry cheesecake with raspberry ripple ice cream. Absolutely Lush. Staff were friendly and it had a nice atmosphere, will definitely be back again.

This isnt my first visit here and its usually great. However, today went very wrong.
My partner and I decided to go for lunch and we waited the best part of 40 mins for our food. When the food eventually got to us, mine tasted burnt. One of the chefs then walked by our table with the pot from my dish (macaroni) with visible burning on the inside of the pot. The chef had to have known the dish was burned and didn't even bother to taste it before serving to customers. Very off-putting.

I absolutely ADORE the cheesecake from this place - can never fault it apart from the price continuing to go up.. £2.50 I used to pay ... now £3.40!! Anyway I nipped in for some cheesecake and a bite to eat to take away. I waited outside (as was busy inside) i was told 15-20 minutes due to kitchen being busy there was a longer wait..after about 30 minutes i went back in and the bagel still hadn't been made. A Bagel?!?. Once I got my order it was absolutely overpowered by Pesto, it made the bagel very greasy and soggy. It was their special on for that day (halloumi, salami, tomato & pesto bagel

Really small, slightly out of the way, but totally amazing place! From savory temptations to the sweetest cheesecake desserts, so much to choose from, you can't go wrong! They even have a cheesecake shake which includes a full slice of your choice of flavors in the shake, not just bits. I had the breaded chicken burger with home made chips (fries) and it was fantastic! I didn't want the side of slaw and asked for Mac and cheese on the side thinking it would be just a small bit and they brought me a dish of it which was so yummy. Amazing service as well.
