Over the years we have grown to become a busy successful practice, and we are proud of our reputation. The practice opened in 2001, Fiona arrived soon after and became the owner in 2006.
At Fiona Jennings Optician, we take time to provide an eye examination that more than meets your expectations. A 45 minute appointment means that we have not only time to provide you with the highest quality eye care, but also to find out lots about you; your eyes, your vision demands, how your glasses work in every day life, and your expectations.
To help you enjoy better eyecare, we've invested in revolutionary new equipment that can significantly improve the detection of common eye conditions. All this can be checked during your regular eye examination, using a 3D Optical Coherence Tomography System (3D OCT). Your optometrist can review the images on their computer screen straight away.
Our team love glasses! We love to make people feel happy, confident and comfortable in their new glasses. We find the best way to do this is to take time and offer our expert advice. Our frame collections are chosen from beautiful ranges across the globe, made from the highest quality materials and designs.

Frequent exposure to harmful UV radiation can cause burning and also accelerate eye ageing, contributing to conditions such as cataract and macular degeneration. I had an appointment last Friday as I decided it is time I now get checked out and possibly get some reading glasses. 6 days later I’m writing this review in low light and I can actually see so clearly it’s like HD. All the staff in Fiona Jenning’s opticians are very professional, welcoming and the service is great. A superb experience all round especially for someone getting their first pair of glasses. Thank you!

I recently visited to choose new glasses and sunglasses which I anticipated would take quite a while and be stressful. However thanks to Teresa it was easy and quite enjoyable! I've used Fiona and Clares services and expertise for many years both for contact lenses and glasses and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Their knowledge and expertise is first class. There is always a friendly welcome and great personal service. Keep up the good work guys!

Fiona is a superb optician & diagnosed my double vision a few years back. Now I have the correct lens & a prism to correct the double vision.
The staff are all really nice, it’s impossible to choose a favourite because they all very helpful & friendly.
There is Geraldine (who has worked in Dromore for many years & is always very nice. She helped me choose my new glasses) Alison (with the amazing hair😁) Jamie (who fits my glasses to perfection) & Teresa (who gives helpful advice when choosing frames)
It is very well organised with appointments taken on time every time.
