Look Eyecare
As an independent opticians practice, we believe in giving you that little bit extra. We want to provide our customers with professional and thorough eye health care. At our practice we use the latest state of the art eye care technology, diagnostic techniques and treatments, a comprehensive eye examination, a clear explanation and answers to your questions.

Optometrist and owner, Shane Quinn graduated from the University of Manchester in 1995. He has gained a huge amount of experience in providing customers with thorough, in-depth health and vision evaluations with solutions. Shane, proud father of Eimear and Dara, who both wear glasses, likes to stock trendy frames to keep his younger clients happy.
Services
Your safety is our priority - these are the measures we have put in place to ensure we keep you safe in our practice. A lot has changed since we last welcomed you all into the practice and we are working very hard behind the scenes to ensure all our patients and staff members are kept safe. We want to share how we are going to do this with you.
At Look Eyecare we advise that regular eye examinations are a vital part of any health care program and are essential in maintaining a clear level of vision. So even if you feel your eyesight is good, the health check of the eye is important. We offer both Private and NHS eye examinations. As an independent practice we carry out a thorough eye examination which lasts approximately 45 minutes.
At Look Eyecare we believe that young eyes need special care and that regular comprehensive eye examinations are important to ensure your child can see properly and to prevent unnecessary problems arising. Children's eye examinations are free on the NHS up to the age of 16, or 18 if they are in full time education.
The health of your eyes matters to you and it matters to us to, which is why Look Eyecare decided to invest in state-of-the-art technology. OCT - Ocular Coherence Tomography - is an advanced eye scan. Similar to an MRI scan or CAT scan, OCT uses light to illustrate the different layers that make up the back of your eye.
Almost anyone can try contact lenses. If you would like clear vision, with a wide field of view, not having to worry about spectacles fogging up, getting wet or moving around, then contact lenses may be for you.

Contact Lens design technology has advanced and today's high-tech products offer a cost-effective, convenient solution for those with sight problems such as short and long-sightedness, astigmatism and even for those that wear bifocals or varifocals with the design of Multifocal contact lenses.Even if you have tried contact lenses before and given up, or told you are not suitable for contact lenses, now may be the time to try again!

Shane went above & beyond this evening to examine my Dads eyes, to check what could have been a sight threatening condition. Much appreciated Shane & really well handled, as my folks seem a lot more relieved than they did when they rang earlier. Keep up the great work! A great professional

Service and professionalism is second to none. Shane is a gentleman, really well informed and explains everything whilst conducting the tests. My parents have already purchased glasses from Look and are very happy.
