Our camping and caravan park faces south over a wooded valley looking over folds of heather-covered moorland which provides a natural amphitheatre locally known as "Paradise".There is also a man-made lake and a Woodland Walk within our site. We also have a great children's play area under shady trees towards the bottom of the site, making us ideal for both families and couples.

An excellent site, very good facilities, very clean and well looked after.
Lovely knowledgeable people who run it, a true family business.
In a fantastic position with great access to the North York Moors from site and nice walks to the coast from your caravan door, 5 miles to Robin Hoods Bay and 4.5 miles to Ravenscar.
10 mins in the car to Whitby or Scarborough and just a bit longer to Sandsend and Runswick Bay.
Love the place.

Good location 20mins either way for Scarborough or Whitby. The site was rather busy but still quiet at the same time due to nothing being around it sound didn't travel. Pitch sizes are good, contained and controlled fires are allowed but you will have to take your own pit or chimnea they MUST be off the ground by over a foot and well away from tents. The things that could be better is the lighting around the park and would be great possibly wooden poles with strings of bulbs following the road and the paths to the toilet facilities also if the children's play area was lit along with the adjoining

Recommended by friends we camped with on this occasion, beautiful location, spotlessly clean with manicured grasses areas, extremely friendly owners, brilliant wash/laundry/pot washing facilties, our children spent all there time in the play area/woodland/playing field. On site shop with enough essentials/snacks and nibbles to keep everyone happy.
Good location for days out at Scarborough and Whitby.
We will Definately be staying there again in the future.

Stayed from 16th July until 23rd and for five days had no water at all, after speaking to Christine the under manager I was told in front of a child to stop interrupting her when she was busy, (no people skills what so ever) I was told the caravan park comes last in the pecking order for water as residents of the village come first and Christine told us she’s waited 3 weeks to get the problem resolved? Just a thought would it of been a problem to management to send a email to people who had booked up for the week to inform them of the problem so families could stock up on baby wipes and we could
