Our eye tests have always been in-depth allowing us to see more than just surface issues and lets us give the top class advice that you should expect from your optician.
Having your eyes examined regularly is important not only to ensure that you are seeing clearly and comfortably, but also to check the health of your eyes. An eye examination can not only pick up eye conditions such as cataracts or glaucoma, but sometimes general health problems like high blood pressure, diabetes or high cholesterol, which can affect the eyes.
It is important that children have their eyes tested regularly because as they grow their eyes can alter and children do not always appreciate that they are not seeing as clearly as they should be. Children are entitled to a free NHS sight test, help towards the cost of any glasses via a NHS voucher and help for the cost of any repairs with a NHS repair voucher.
We stock a wide range of frames, from designer frames such as Longchamp, Calvin Klein and Land Rover to a budget range. We are very happy to spend time with you to choose a frame which you like and which will fit well. If we don't have a frame in stock that suits we will order other frames in for you to look at.
We are able to correct almost any prescription and many people can now enjoy the convenience of good vision without glasses. A lot of people chose to wear contact lenses on an occasional basis, perhaps for sport or when on a night out. For this a daily lens, which is worn once and then thrown away, is often ideal.
