Suzanne Lynch FBDO - Joined the practice in 2001 as a trainee dispenser and qualified as a dispensing optician in 2003. Being one of the longest serving members, everyone thinks she IS John's daughter.
Pretti Desai - Joined us in 2015 and hasn't been in a bad mood since with lots of giggles coming from the consulting room. Mel Taylor FBDO - has worked in optics since 1999 and qualified as a dispensing optician in 2011. Mel is our resident chocoholic and the first in the goodie draw in the morning.

Services
Regular eye exams are vital to maintaining your vision and overall eye health. We offer the optomap as an important part of our comprehensive eye examination. The optomap scan produces a unique image that provides us with a high-resolution 200° (80%) view of your retina. This is much wider than a traditional camera 45° (15%) picture image that most opticians have.
Once upon a time glasses were seen solely as a necessity, but the days of the limited NHS ranges have gone. Glasses have become more of a fashion and personality statement. Feel free to come in and browse our frames; we have a huge variety (over 4,000) to suit all ages, personalities and budgets, including children's, fashion, sport, designer and sunglasses.
Many people are choosing contact lenses for vision correction, as they offer several advantages over spectacles. Beth, our contact lens specialist, is available every Wednesday and selected Fridays and Saturdays. Contact lenses can correct almost all eyesight conditions and are suitable for people of all ages.

Whilst waiting in reception I found the way a staff member eleanor was speaking to another member of staff down right rude. Before eleanor and Suzanne appeared from downstairs i found the staff lovely and the shop nice. The two mentioned changed(lowered) the tone. Without those 2 would have gave a solid 4.5.

Very helpful staff, The fellow who helped me with getting prescription sunglasses lenses was very helpful and thorough. They also helped me with a dodgy prescription that specsavers gave me, and provided me with a much more comfortable and sensible prescription. After seeing how amateurish specsavers is, this place felt much more professional so I will be going back to them from now on I think.

I visited today for an eye examination booking for the first time. The service was outstanding and very professional. All the staff were friendly. Overall, the vibes were very warm and welcoming.
